Who's still waiting on "THE LETTER"

Count me in. Still waiting, should find out within the next couple of weeks. At this point my only plan B is to reapply for January 07. I don't have anymore prereqs after this semster, and I have a 4.0, so there's really nothing else I can do. Maybe I'll take some courses that I need for RN-BSN. I want to wish everybody out there that is waiting good luck, I know this is a stressful time for us all. We'll get there!

My getting an ADN first is being paid for, but if I don't get in the second time to apply (this time with a 4.0), I'd have to continue on toward the BSN and forget about the ADN. I'd have 4 classes I'd have to take before I could apply for the BSN program, and qualify for financial aid.

If I get into the ADN program for Fall 06, then I will only have 1 class to take to apply for the RN-BSN Bridge program after becoming an RN...."Statistics". :uhoh21:

HEY!! I was thinking about posting a similar topic this morning!

Letters go out the first week of April to those who are accepted into the Fall 06 and Spring 07 programs. I think that the rejection letters go out after that... I'm not sure.

In any case my eggs are all in one basket because there are no other programs around that are not Bridge for LPNs or RNs. However, my plan B is to wait until next year to re-apply again with all of my co-reqs done at that point (I am still enrolled in a few this Semester but done with my pre-reqs). Either way I will add Register Nurse to my list of credentials one way or another!

The wait is killer but I am not afraid to read my letter when it comes. If I do not make it I will DEFINITELY be happy for those who do rather then sad for myself and I will continue on my path.

Well i was placed on an alternate list,#8, i called the counseling dept. at the school i go to and talked with her she told me that the people who have been accpeted have until april 4th to accept. The class is pretty big 100 people so i am not giving up hope that i may get in for fall 06. If not i am also applying to this LPn program, and also at another community college i am gonan try to get into there adn program in jan if nothing works out with the other programs. But i am thinking positive, praying that i get into prgram that i am an alternate for currently.

I'm still waiting as well. The wait is killing me. I'm trying to figure out what classes to take for fall so if I am accepted I can be ready to take clinicals by Summer 07. If I'm not accepted I'll slow down my pace and maybe take some classes towards a minor degree so I have enough classes for financial aid. Worst case senerio I'll apply to another major get my BS and then apply for the accelerated nursing BSN program which is 18 months long.

Still waiting here too. The nursing school won't say when the letters will be mailed, just that it could be as late as the end of April. So I don't plan on knowing anything for another month, though sooner would be nice.

I'm still waiting too . . . patiently (yeah, right). I won't find out anything until the fourth week of April and the wait is killing me!!! My only Plan B is to reapply for Spring 07. I applied for a BSN program, so I really do not have any other classes to take. I guess I could take my upper division general education courses . . .

I'm still waiting too. I won't know anything until May. It seems like forever!! The school I applied to goes off of nursing test scores and no prereqs are required to get in. So, I guess if I don't get in this time I'll just take some prereqs and try again next year. Good Luck to everyone!! :)

I'm also waiting with all my eggs in one basket. I can't relocate so if I don't get in i'm going to try the online program or else reapply. I'm trying to think positive - there is still alot of work to do this semester for my pre-reqs.

Oh yeah...when I get my letter I am going to celebrate and buy an all-nurses premium membership. woo hoo!

Waiting also :uhoh3: ! Letters are suppose to go out the first week of April (hopefully). I applied for the adn for fall 06'.

I have finished all my prereq's and am currently taking Pharmacology (the only Rn class you can take outside of the RN program). So, my Plan B is to take as many classes as i can toward the Bsn program and apply for fall 07' bsn and also to reapply for spring 07' Rn at another college; and reapply to the same 3 college's i applied to this fall for fall 07'. Either way i will find a way!!!!

I'm still waiting. I should get my letter by April 30 at the latest. I'm so nervous! If I don't get accepted, I might just get a part-time seasonal job to keep me busy.
