QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

If you are so concerned about Medicaid fraud, you should check into what's going on in Florida.
You have a Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in Florida. Why don't you ask them why the corrupt providers aren't in prison? You are paying for their salaries. It's the PROVIDERS that account for the big bucks fraud.

Good luck! I've been pointing this out since the Regan administration's made-up welfare queens. The magaphiles need to Google HCA and Senator Rick Scott, who presided over one of the largest Medicare fraud schemes in US history.

I suspect the fact that he was watching videos on his phone had something to do with it.

The accident wasn't in New York.

I didn't say it did. I simply disagreed with you that it was "fishy" that they gave him a test, and why.
Apparently, I'm not enough to figure out the conspiracy. So, enlighten me. Why is it "fishy" that law enforcement tested him for the required English proficiency to operate a tour bus?
It seems like many "Churches" are using the Christmas Nativity scene to try to make political points. This is not only despicable but also shows their lack of understanding of what the purpose of the Navity scene is meant to portray. The Nativity scene was first used in the 12th century for the villagers who were unable to read so they could 'see' the story of Christ's birth. It is not meant for anyone to distort the religious meaning by using it to make political points and then (as some have) call it art. This is highly offensive and so called Churches that are doing this are definitely sending the wrong message to its members, community and anyone else who would see these monstrosities. Using ICE and other political symbols is not just offensive but also ignorant. Mary and Joseph were not refugees, they were not being chased by anyone, they were following the laws of the land and returning to their home town to register and pay taxes.
The Nativity depicts God's coming to the world to save all mankind from sin (those who believe that Jesus died for their sin, was crucified and rose again and ascended to heaven). He calls all men to himself for forgiveness and eternal salvation; all we need to do is accept his free gift and call on Him.
Any Church who is using the nativity as a prop to make any other point only shows their lack of understanding and pride. The purpose of the Nativity is to draw people to the good news of what Jesus has done for us, it is a visible witness to the truth. The Nativity scene is not an argument but a proclamation, a profound truth (God entering the world to redeem humanity), using the nativity for airing modern day grievances demonstrates a lack of reverence for the divine mystery of Christ's incarnation.
Any Church who distorts this and leads people astray is on thin ice at best. God calls spiritual teachers to a higher standard and is not happy when they (or anyone) throw stumbling blocks in front of people. Discerning believers should uphold the sanctity of the Nativity and not use it for self-serving political narratives.
Just wanted to give people who might be reading the truth, Merry Christmas!

@GrumpyRN we had terrible accident here in 2019 on a stretch of interstate I drive quite often. A Cuban immigrant semi driver who couldnt read english, while coming down fron the mountains lost his brakes. He passed numerous signs waring of steep grades, a runaway truck ramp ahead, and then actually went past one of the longest runaway truck ramps there is. He made it several more miles, hit over 100 mph, and then ran into backed up traffic, caused a huge accident with explosions and fire, killed 4 people and maimed several others.
He was tried and convicted and sentenced to a lengthy prison term.
Ironically, our hypocrit governor who has presidential aspirations, has been in the news recently sparring with Trump over Trump's desire to have a court clerk pardoned, commuted the sentence.
