You misunderstood, but let me work with this. Some teams play in a division against younger players. Either the tournament is on the honor system or the player uses a birth certificate of a younger cousin, sibling, etc. I guess they do this for some kind of competitive advantage to feel good about themselves. That's same same thing as a male playing in a female division when the male division was available to them. They're doing it to in some matter feel good about themselves.

If there was a separate division in a league or tournament established for players over seven feet tall, then I would say that is where the seven footers should play. I'm a youth basketball coach. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for teams with older players to enter a tournament in a younger age division. It seems you'd be OK with that. Why shouldn't a male athlete be barred from competing in the female division when there is a male division available to compete in? Why can't they compete with the males? Please share your rationale on this. While I don't follow it closely any longer, I've been a drag race fan my entire life. I've seen Shirley Muldowney back in the day and have seen many woman that have followed her. It is a sport, but not one that requires athletic ability. And, I'm not sure what your point is in bringing it up.

I wonder if you or @GrumpyRN ever do any homework before making assertions on things you know nothing about? Men do indeed have an advantage in some of those sports mentioned. And, no one considers chess or poker to be athletic competition.
