I find it concerning, that this many Republicans support Mr. Trump.
QuoteIf there's a civil war in the Republican Party, the voters who backed Donald Trump in November's election are ready to choose sides.
Behind Trump.
An exclusive Suffolk University/USA TODAY Poll finds Trump's support largely unshaken after his second impeachment trial in the Senate, this time on a charge of inciting an insurrection in the deadly assault on the Capitol Jan. 6.
By double digits, 46%-27%, those surveyed say they would abandon the GOP and join the Trump party if the former president decided to create one. The rest are undecided.

Exclusive: Defeated and impeached, Trump still commands the loyalty of the GOP's voters
Trump felt the need to threaten all of the republicans that voted against him!
It's interesting how they can still be afraid of someone who is very, very likely going to jail and will end up bankrupt from the legal fees. If he thinks that he won't be paying his lawyer's fees, I think he just needs to look at all the losses he's suffered in court lately. They are obviously no fans of his.
Biden might appear innocuous but if you look at his early years, he was quite fiesty and Trump attacked his son and tried to put him in jail. Biden has serious steel and I don't think he will be forgetting what Trump did and said.
His lawyers will attach liens to every business incl those of his children because they actually own those businesses instead of making them corporate entities. And they are all intertwined.
It was really revolting to watch and listen to them. My gut instinct is always to retaliate if someone does something wrong to me, AFTER carefully considering legality and to ensure that I will be effective as a future deterrent for myself and others. I have to also assess if their actions actually was impulsive or simply a mistake. Many people do both and both are forgivable!
Trump actually calculates and plans to hurt deliberately, regardless of the consequences. He's learned nothing from the last few months! Firstly, you would think that he would be ashamed to be in public after losing the presidency, senate and house. Then compounded by his tax returns, legal troubles without Presidential protection and also implicating his children and so many sycophants who blindly followed his stupidity.
I am just waiting for who's going to start cooperating with the Prosecuters first because I am willing to bet that it will be a crowd! The enemies he's made in the justice department like Boharra, Yates, Comey, all of the federal officials he removed for just doing their jobs, Mueller possibly, all have direct contacts and colleagues, AND I just bet they can't wait to put their two cents in.
I have been around lawyers all my life practically and they mostly all have an adversarial streak and a long memory! He's not going to get away lightly! And with his brand being so toxic, he will have severe limitations re good legal representation!

Fox and many Trump supporters are obsessed with sex and gender, thus stories about Cuomo and transexuals. Forget pandemic, forget the economy, forget income disparity and racial inequity. It's all about sex.

I know. Remember Stormy Daniels?
Anyway, one of the left's pandemic darlings being credibly accused of sexual harassment and woman athletes being denied opportunities, and other unintended consequences of the Equality Act, are just as important stories as Ted Cruz going to Mexico, imho.

Yeah we remember her...Trump broke federal campaign laws when he paid her hush money before the election. That crime sent Cohen to prison and Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in the case, do you think Trump might as well? Trump lied over and over about that behavior. It was one of those opportunities for voters like yourself to recognize that Trump was completely unfit for office but most of you were unable to discern either the lies or the lack of an ethical or moral compassfor personal conduct and still think Trump is godly even.
Those same people are now being manipulated with constant discussion of the sexual claims against Cuomo on their favorite propaganda outlets. They are seriously more concerned about these claims than they were about any of the claims against Trump...what is it, 2 or 3 dozen credible accusations? I must have missed your comment of concern when Trump misused the DOJ attorneys to act as his own in the current defamation suit which is related to his alleged sexual assault of Ms Carroll.
Meanwhile, I'll remind you that Cuomo is a liberal accused of sexual impropriety. I'm certain that you've noticed that there's a higher probability that he'll end up like Franken than like Trump. The GOP has a much higher tolerance for lying and sexual nonsense than the Democrats do, they have to to embrace Trump.

I think the media and the public loves a good sex story not just Trump supporters. It's a fascinating subject to some. CNN and other news organizations are covering it as well. I do think that Fox is definitely going over the top with their volume of stories. Today they have only four stories but the other day I counted nine. CNN has three stories on their front page.
Fox's main headlines about private schools in California being open during the pandemic.

We all have what we personally think are important stories and I agree the Cuomo story is important and it's widely covered in all the press that I can see, but like I said Fox is over the top and conservatives are gleeful about it. Fair enough. Taking down the left's "pandemic darling" must be satisfying, especially since they can't bring down another disliked man Dr. Fauci.
The transgendered vs. biological female athletes is an old story and was widely covered last year but kind of got lost in the muck. CPAC has revived the story. Again fair enough if it's important to them. I do think the speaker at CPAC was over the top fear mongering with her statements that transgendered athletes are going cancel female athletes and "sideline" them. As if there are that many transgendered athletes waiting in the wings to eliminate all females.

I don't know of a single person who thought she was "darling." Because of her we had to listen to a description of Trump's member! Anyone who was sentint knew that Michael Avenatti was a sleaze. This is stupid talk to deflect from the more difficult issues. There are pleanty of anti-Trump Republicans. I still call them honorable people but they are living in a bubble if they believe the Republican Party will have any creds in these times. The best thing is to admit defeat and become a moderate Democrat. The Repubs' party has no platform, no central core beliefs and no credibility left. As I told you before, Democrat New Yorkers had to take Cuomo with a grain of salt because he is so arrogant. But imagine how awful it would have been to have crazy Rudi Guiliani around anymore. You are simple minded if you think all anti-Trumpers walk lock-step. Dems are not dogs, we are cats.

Likewise, you are simple minded if you think all Trump voters "walk lock-step".

Yes, please explain the intent and point of bringing up Trump's Media star sex partner, that he broke laws paying off before lying to you about it. Did you mention her to remind us that you voted for a sexual predator and creep while feeling that other sexual creeps should be held more accountable than DJT? Were you trying to highlight the hypocrisy of conservative sexual concern that ignores Trump's problems?

CPAC, all-in for Trump, is not what it used to be
Trumps CPAC remarks today -- same sentiments spoken at Jan 6th, 2021 rally, including that PA had more votes cast than voters -- another lie he won't stop stating (I refuted previous thread.)
