I find it concerning, that this many Republicans support Mr. Trump.

That's what's on the horizon. How could it end differently from civil war when republicans now fully deny the veracity of American elections?  Those CPAC conservatives will praise and support the author and spreader of the most un-American lie ever told by a defeated politician while ignoring that the Liar incited a violent mob to install him as president. 

I mentioned before that much of the destruction and violence occurring at BLM marches and demonstrations was instigated by white racists engaging in their strategy of accelerationism.  That bunch of angry white men have been trying to start another civil war since we defeated them the first time.  We let them keep their hateful symbols and flags and they started thinking that their unacceptable racist nonsense was OK...especially after Trump dog whistled them to attention.

Well you're married toomuchbaloney, for us single younger guys it's a bit more difficult. Not only do we not have the experience of repression but we have hormones that are raging. I get the stripper thing that happened to you but only because preferentially I don't understand the appeal of strippers. I always begin thinking about the woman having to resort to these men visually groping her and leering. I go with my buddies sometimes but for business purposes. I own thirteen apartments which I rent out and the stripper club owner has a cleaning business that I use. I get free wings and beer so I have an incentive. But I always feel sorry for the girls and I am not sure if it's the right way to react because I hate casting judgment. What I can't figure out is just WHAT does Trump have to do that would cross the line for his followers?  His behavior at the Miss Teen contest was defended because "they were over 18".  So it's OK to sexually abuse women if they are over 18.  Got it.  What if he raped an 18 year old boy on stage (we already know he can shoot someone and get away with it).  Would it be dismissed because the boy was 18?  What if he raped a 10 year old on stage? Would they blame the boy for being the seducer?

Been saying this for months and I also bet that Mitch McConnell is deeply involved! 

Any mild sort of investigation into most of the republicans who really supported Trump will uncover criminal activities! The reason they gravitated towards Trump because he encouraged their graft.

Trump only appeared at CPAC for one reason. To continue to get the idiots to give him MONEY! After all the revelations and mistakes made by the republicans over the last few years, you have to be soft in the head to continue to support them. 

THIS IS THE REASON I wished Biden had a better choice for AG! Biden wants a principled AG after having the most criminalistic administration in America's history! 

Democrats always play like LOSERS! Which is why republicans do the things they do and ABUSE THE SYSTEM! 

We need an AG who will pursue relentlessly Bill Barr and Mitch McConnell to set an example for future members in those positions to do the job properly! It shouldn't be left to the states to go after Trump! He didn't pardon himself, and committed crimes against the American people! 

If there was a third party that had a miniscule amount of guts and didn't discriminate against women, LGBT, minorities and wanted small efficient govt, low taxes and a strong efficient military, I would drop the Dems in a hurry. 

Dems are so weak and lame! They never show strength. Biden pursuit of bi partisan agendas is just another example of the soft underbelly that real leaders don't have! Republicans didn't elect him. Liberals and Democrats, did! 

We elected him to repudiate everything Trump's administration and the republican party stood for, so do your feffing job!

Yes we have a republic but look at Texas! Abbott is about to jeopardize America! America, not just Texas! 

If Abbott knew there would be consequences, he would keep his trap shut! They have gerrymandered that state to the point that there's no consequences which is why lying Cruz could go to CPAC without worrying. 

Cuomo needs to resign or be pushed. I like strong people but strength has to be tempered with common sense and decency. In this country we seem to only produce weak decent people or strong criminals for politicians. 

I employ no one in my businesses, only sub contractors. I took the risks and did the legwork re setting up and running those businesses. If they fail, I am the one who loses! I want people who do the job or you will be fired! All of my contracts are set up through an escrow. Payments are made in thirds and conditions are clearly defined. I pay 10% over the normal services for the inconvenience because it guarantees me peace of mind. Meet the deadlines or suffer the deductions. I make people accountable and I rarely have trouble! The only people who will work with me are those who are confident of their abilities and that they can make the deadlines! Consequences and accountability! 

Democrats are weak! Civility breeds insecure people. Obama is a typical example. Two years both houses. Biden has the same for now and I like his approach so far except for his AG choice. I want people of Barr's mentality but only re pursuit of the legal rights of Americans. We were just raped by the Trump's administration and I want my pound of flesh. 

They are elected officials! They placed themselves in the position stating categorically to represent the people. Democracy only works when you have educated voters who knows the issues. Trump and republicans know that by keeping their supporters ignorant, they own them! Democrats know that by keeping their supporters acquiescent by appearing mild mannered and supplicant, they own them. 

I don't believe in justice toomuch because it doesn't work equally for all. Women, black people, minorities, LGBT and poor people don't get the same justice as rich white men! I believe in consequences! Strict, quick, decisive consequences! 

My Scottish grandmother would smack you in a hurry when you did something wrong, you quickly learned not to play around and how to behave. She is also the most fun and exciting and loving gran you could possibly have. The worst cook in the world but you ate everything in front of you because of the consequences!

I'm not confident that Trump or Cruz or Hawley will suffer ANY meaningful consequences for their dangerous behavior.  This country's history of holding wealthy and powerful white men accountable is horrible.  But we have lots of working class black men incarcerated for much less egregious crimes. 

Our republic is in peril and the majority of our republicancongressional membership seems to live in a delusion where current events is simply political business as usual. Republican law makers are spreading known lies and dangerous propaganda from their seats of authority.  Republican members of both chambers are whining about the Capitol security measures that are necessitated by their own behaviors and inflammatory rhetoric.  They are literally rewriting the events of January 6 with false narratives and crazy claims and accusations in senate and house committee minutes and records with the lies and conspiracies. 

This really is like a bad novel written by people who have read few books on the general subject matter.
