Ok, AN, it's guilty pleasure time. What do you do that you know as a nurse you shouldn't? Chain smoke? Binge drink on the weekends? Lecture a patient on a healthy lifestyle then go home and slam down a whole mac-n-cheese pizza? Ride your kick-a** donorcycle to work? Do back flips on your trampoline while juggling swords?
Out with it!
I'm a long-time vegan who goes to the gym 4-5 days a week, walks and bikes almost everywhere, runs half-marathons now and then, and quit smoking 3.5 years ago.

Whiskey and rum are way too delicious.
If I could snort bread, I would.
Coke Zero q4h.
Have been avoiding the dentist for... a while, and the gynecologist for so long I might have cobwebs.
Same thing with regular doctor visits. I think I might just have an aversion to making appointments.
I feel so much better getting that out, and reading all of your confessions.
I need to see a dentist-but I'm terrified of dentists...I have a cavity that needs filling; I'm overdue on my physical and my GYN appointment-I do like my GYN though!I have a sweet tooth, and I eat cookies and milk as my bedtime snack almost every night to help me go to sleep.
I like the dentist.
I do smoke...Apparently the only one in the thread. I also drink so much coffee that I think ahead for the afternoon: I start my Keurig for my morning cup, all the while starting a 6-cup pot in my other coffee pot. When that pot is finished, I stick it in the fridge, then continue with the keurig for 2-3 more cups in the morning. When the afternoon hits, the pot of coffee is cold. Add ice, some cream, and splenda.
I've got coffee down to an art.

Likes for the coffee. It is good for you. I really don't think coffee is a vice.
I keep telling myself that.

**snerk** snort bread
**double snerk** cobwebs
Bacon. Pre-cooked packages from Costco. I buy 3-4 at a time to keep in the vegetable drawer in the fridge. Whip out 6 slices, 45 second nuke, watch TV, usually ID channel with Forensic Files marathon.
Perhaps on a related note, I'm over 50 and have never had a colonoscopy. I beg to fill out the cards just this one more year.
Diet Dr. Pepper. I drink so much when they draw my blood it fizzes.
I have a cookies and sweet coffee problem. I'm quite proud of my
Now if only I could figure out a moist, chewy, and sugar-free cookie I'd be in business. I'm noshing on Wal Mart Bakery chewy snickerdoodles right now.
I rarely exercise, unless you count chasing my baby Usain Bolt, or moving dead weight pts.
I'm glad that Being an Example of Healthy Living isn't part of the nursing process.
I never drank coffee until my sophomore year of college, when I started working nights at the hospital. Now I drink so much that I'm pretty sure if I sit in a hot tub I'm like a Keurig pod in a 300-gallon coffee pot. I don't think there's anything wrong with my coffee habit unless you get between me and the coffee machine.
I swear in front of children. I don't have any kids, so I'm just teaching other people's kids to be impolite.
I don't wear a helmet when I ride my bike (bicycle).
I procrastinate. I tell people I write papers better under pressure, but that's total crap. I have no idea how I write papers when not under pressure, because I've never seen it.
