You should know better

Ok, AN, it's guilty pleasure time. What do you do that you know as a nurse you shouldn't? Chain smoke? Binge drink on the weekends? Lecture a patient on a healthy lifestyle then go home and slam down a whole mac-n-cheese pizza? Ride your kick-a** donorcycle to work? Do back flips on your trampoline while juggling swords?

Out with it!

They make Mac n cheese PIZZA?!

I definitely struggle with choosing the best foods

SWIM is a nurse and an escort. Being a nurse has probably saved her from drd.

Ummm...nothing...unless you count eating junk food.

I eat bad and non-compliant when it comes to my health. I.E. I'm anemic , doc ordered more labs and vitamin D

I have not taken the vit d or had my labs drawn.

Nothing I like better than a nice cold glass of Chardonnay...except another cold glass of Chardonnay!

I drink Coke. Full sugar coke. I was drinking one a day with dinner, but I have cut down a tiny bit.

Sweets, ANY sweets...donuts, cake, pie, ice cream, chocolates. I really do try to avoid the bakery when shopping, but sometimes the aroma just ropes helpless me in.

I postpone mammograms.

Food and alcohol, for sure. I drink probably 1-2x per week with my boyfriend. Once every couple of months, I really go all out in the alcohol department to the extent that I'm hung over the next day.

What can I say? I have a tasty mixed drink problem. Pass the pomegranate margaritas, please.

I also don't exercise pretty much ever.

Alcohol (I mean come on, I'm only 22!) and motorcycle riding (of course not at once).

-I struggle with a sweet tooth.

-I don't have a primary care provider still, it's been 4 years. I don't really care to, as I don't trust any doctor in the company I work for, and privacy laws for employees go out the window.
