I have a pair of non-clog danskos for work. I tend to twist my ankle in the clogs so I purchased a pair of ¨regular heel¨ danskos. I love them. They´re plain black leather and so cleanable.

The ones I've personally seen look feminine... But maybe they have more masculine options, or maybe you don't care about that either way.

Do you like them personally? I think that's the only important deciding factor!

I have no opinion at all on this - I don't fret over other people's fashion choices unless they are blatantly unprofessional!

When I first started seeing Danskos, about 35 years ago, they were hand made in Sweden (I believe) and were very expensive. They were really FOR physicians. In ortho, most of our docs/residents are male and many of them wear Danskos. Lots of nurses too. I would not think anything other than what I think of them in general: I have really high arches and can't wear them. 😉 At best they are an 8 hour shoe for me.

Hello Ladies and Gents,

Seriously, no opinion or thought goes through my head if I even notice what kind of shoes some random man is wearing.

My opinion of a man wearing Daskos? Much better than my opinion of anyone wearing crocs 😉

Seriously, wear whatever you find comfy. I did not like that particular brand as I have super wide feet and they all run narrow in my experience.

Listen, have you looked at crocs lately?

they've upped their game and their shoes look much more appealing now than when they first became popular. I don’t own a pair but I’m just about ready to cave and buy some!

My opinion: if you value your ankles, pick a different shoe!

I just have weak ankles.

There was one male nurse that wore Danskos when I worked at the hospital. I married him...despite the shoes.

Paired with scrubs, a man in Danskos is a man properly dressed for work. Unless the color is loud, nobody is going to notice your shoes.

Although, I don’t have a transference or counter-transference like-attitude. But, we are judged by first impression.  And it only takes  7 seconds, for one to judge someone.

But I have proven them wrong. 😊

Anyway——
“Paired with a good scrubs. A man properly dressed for work....”

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ what a definition!

I ordered one, simply because of this statement. I ended up not getting a Dansko. But the running shoes or sneakers has to go, at least, while I am making $$$$$$$.

And yes, I am a Chef

Thanks!

I say go for it! I have plenty of male coworkers who wear them, some of them with those Figs scrub skinny pants in a dusky rose color! I think they look great. But, I am in San Francisco 😂
