Also, how much do you get paid for various differentials?

Southern California for the county, $50/h for starting wage with experience.

I am a peasant compared to the rest of you. I am a new grad in a SNF in Tampa, Fl. I get paid $24.50/hr plus an astounding $1.00 differential for my shift so the grand total is $25.50/hr.

That's an ok pay for SNF. I was payed the same working in SNF.

Baltimore MD offered me $32.5/hr with my 2-yr experience, but I’d have to work a total of 240hrs/month, meaning I’d need to work 4shifts/week in 2 weeks of the month. My current job in northern NH pays me $30/hr

I was actually paid less than that as a new grad in the ICU in the midwest.

Philly suburbs SNF new grad $30.50, shift diff $2 evenings, $1 weekends $35 PRN at one job, the other $29, $2 shift diff evenings, $32 PRN. I've been looking at other jobs and range is all over.

SNF in suburbs - $35, PRN $39. I don't know what the shift diff is.

- $38, $2 shift diff evenings (they rarely have openings)

-$30, $2 shift diff evenings, $2 weekends

- most SNFs start RNs at $25-30 as base pay, avg $28

Hospitals 1/2 hour from Philly- $33, $4.50 shift diff, $2 weekends, $54 PRN

$31, shift diff 10%

Hospitals 1 hr outside Philly- $26.75, 10% shift diff

- $27.69, 10% shift diff, $ 2 weekends, $12.50 on

top of shift diffs for weekend program

Hospital 2 hr from Philly- $27.01, $1 shift diff

Hospitals in Philly, especially center city make a lot more. The farther out it is from Philly, the lower the pay. These are all new grad RN rates

Specializes in PACU, Stepdown, Trauma.

Hospital nurse in the midwest - wages here are not great. I've been an RN for a few years.

$28.50/hour. $1/hour weekend differential. $2/hour night shift differential. $1/hour preceptor pay.

Central Ohio. New grads make about $25- $27 per hour base pay. Shift diff at all the major area hospitals is an extra $5 for night shift. Plus an extra $5 for weekends no matter what shift you work. I Been an RN for 5years so i make about $6/$7 more (base pay) than the new grad starting wage.
