Who's starting (or hoping to start) this fall?

Published

I used to post in this forum awhile ago, then kinda took a break because there was just alot of waiting until I actually got into nursing school. Well, I finally got in and am starting this fall :) I don't feel quite right about posting in the students section though, because I'm not quite there yet. I just wanted to see if there are any other soon-to-be nursing students who are lurking in this forum.

Sing Dance Run Life, You sure have a busy schedule. All the best to you and congratulations!

Haha. Yeah, it is a pretty heavy schedule. It's doable though.

Specializes in Nursing Education, CVICU, Float Pool.

I have the option to start at a few schools, but I think Im going to stick with pre-nursing and get my pre-req's first that way I'll just have my nursing classes when I start school and it will be less pressure. What do you guys think?

I think this is a VERY good idea. You will have a much better foundation to build your knowledge on, and you'll have more time to focus on your nursing classes. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I think that if you've been given the oppportunity to start NS and can handle the prereqs and nursing classes, you should do it. I only say this because something may change when you are ready to go and you may not be able to attend. When opportunity knocks, answer the door!!! Good luck in your decision tho!

My schedule is as follows:

Nsg 120 - Monday - 3 - 5pm

Nsg 126 - Thursday 1 - 5pm

Labs - Tues and Wed for 6 hrs, don't know the time yet.

:yeah:

Email says to expect letter by March 31st. Just checked the mail & got nothing today, looks like they will be cutting it close!

I am accepted to SUNY Delhi for the fall, in their RN program. Excited, but not quite sure what to expect!

Specializes in Telemetry and Psych.

I will be starting in August as well! Can't wait!!

sweating bullets waiting to hear something....application was extended 15 days so now no one knows when we are supposed to hear back.
