Who's starting (or hoping to start) this fall?

I used to post in this forum awhile ago, then kinda took a break because there was just alot of waiting until I actually got into nursing school. Well, I finally got in and am starting this fall :) I don't feel quite right about posting in the students section though, because I'm not quite there yet. I just wanted to see if there are any other soon-to-be nursing students who are lurking in this forum.

I posted a few weeks ago about being a 2010 hopeful, but now I officially start in August :D I got my acceptance letter last Monday! :yeah:

Congrats to everyone else who got in and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those still waiting!

Just wanted to update! I got in. I start the 21 month ADN program next month. We start clinical 3 weeks in. It going to go FAST!

I just read an old post of mine (pg. 6) about waitin for my NS acceptance letter. Now I'm getting easy to start my last semester. April 30th is my last day. Oh my... How time flies....

questions....i just finished a & P 2 with an A....taking micro spring semester....letters will not start to go til FEB....my question is do I have a chance to get in....

took chem 2 yrs ago...received a C + in lec and A in lab.....B+ in math....A's in A & Ps......the only 2 pre reqs i needed were chem and math....but i am taking the sciences BEFORE going/getting into the RN program to lessen the load....so if i manage to pull another A or even a B in micro do you think i have a chance? with that darn ol C +.....I have 3 letters of refrences...one is from a woman who went to this college as an older traditional student whos husband just left the nursing dept a huge amount of money in her name.....they are friends of the family....cant hurt right??.....

my school requires no teas test or such...

and i am also a LPN....

so??

I think you'll do fine :D but as for myself, I will be starting my nursing program this fall 2012 at an ADN/Diploma program in my home city...I'm so excited yayyy!!!!

To the OP and those of you who started Fall 2010, Congrats on entering our last semester of Nursing School!!! Can't believe it's finally here!!!

To those just starting...congratulations on getting accepted! That's a challenge in itself!!! Also, I wish you all the best! Stay focused, motivated, and STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!
