What type of program are you in, what year/semester/class are you in, and where are you doing clinicals this semester?
I'm a second semester Associate's student in my first med-surg class (out of 2) doing clinicals at the hospital my school is affiliated with. My first half of clinicals (7 weeks) will be in an orthopedic floor, and in all likelihood, my second rotation for the semester will be on a med-surg floor since that's where most of our instructors work outside of teaching.
What about you?

I'm in my 3rd semester of an ADN program, today was my first day back actually! I am taking Psych, Peds, and Med/Surg classes..it is only a Med/Surg and Psych lecture, the Peds is incorporated in the Med/Surg lecture.
My clinicals that start tomorrow are 5 weeks of Psych..I will be at a Veteran's hospital that has a Psych floor. I don't really know what to expect as this clinical will be COMPLETELY different than what I am used to. We don't even wear scrubs! Then after 5 weeks I will be going to a Med/Surg floor...it's actually a ICU/Tele type floor..a lot of critical patients. And then I will spend 5 weeks at a Children's hospital for Peds. And I'm excited for that :)

I'm in my second semester of the LPN program. So far, I've had 8 weeks at two different hospitals - one on the med/surg floor and the other in the ICU and med/surg. This semester, I will be in a few different LTC facilities, a daycare, an outpatient center, OB for 3 weeks, operating room, medical clinic, and another hospital. My schedule is crazy!

I'm a 2nd Semester ADN student and we are doing Med/Surg 1 at our local hospital, and apparently we are going to be floating floors for 9 clinicals from surgery to dialysis.

I will be starting my 4th semester of an ADN program on the 18th...this semester is our specialities semester where we will be doing OB, pedi, and psych. The first 8wks I will be doing mental health theory, OB clinical, and OB theory. The 2nd 8wks I will be doing pedi theory, pedi clinical and mental health clinical :) Sounds like a mouth full!
Then we have the summer off and when I go back in the fall I do med-surg III where I will be doing clinicals in the ER and ICU. We will also be taking several classes to help us prepare to get jobs (writing resumes, etc).

My semester is kind of complicated. I'm in my second semester of an ASN program at a local community college. We have 8 weeks of OB/Peds clinical, where the time is split between doing growth and development assessment at a state-run daycare facility and working on an OB floor at a hospital. The last half is Med/Surg II and we will be doing our clinicals at a large local hospital. I'm excited because I've been to the hospital before and it's really nice, and new.
