When is your Spring Break & what are you doing?

We are the last week of March. My family is coming to spend the week with me and the tiny one. They want to take my little one to a bunch of Easter egg hunts but trying to teach a 1.5 year old how to put plastic eggs into a basket is a lot harder than I imagined it would be!

At 1.5y/o my daughter just picked dandelions! Not an egg in her basket, but the newspaper photographer thought it was adorable and got a great shot of her picking flowers!

We just had a mini-break, the 2nd-6th off for P/T conferences, so yesterday was pure chaos. Our spring break is March 23rd-April 2nd. I plan on cleaning my house, going to the zoo with the kiddos, and probably the science center more than once. I'm hoping to get into our local learning center, my 6 y/o was finally given the appropriate ADHD and SPD diagnosis, and they have great resources!

Maybe I'll get to read the book that's been on my side table since November...

I carry the wine in a "Playpus PlatyPreserve" bottle made just for keeping wine good to drink on the trail :)

We only get Friday and Monday off on Easter Weekend. Hardly worth the effort :) I'll probably still take care of the kids as if it were a longer vacation.

Our Spring Break starts tomorrow at 3pm. The kids get out at 11:25, yay! We are headed to Louisiana tomorrow night for "Junior Day" at UL-Lafayette with our son, and to hang out with my parents, then heading back here on Tuesday to rest at home for the remainder of the week. I can't wait!

Mine starts next week. My kiddos and I are going camping this weekend with a school event, then I have nothing planned all week, possibly hang out with friends, sleep and maybe go to the Rodeo. That's it. :3

Spring break starts in five minutes. We added Friday, the 9th, and Monday, the 19th, to our spring break, which is the 12 through 17. Yep - eleven days!!! I have no real plans, just relaxing.

No plans! Kids are actually getting their Spring Break... it has been cancelled

a couple of years in the past due to numerous snow days. This year they

implemented "non traditional days", for the kids to do work at home on

some of their snow days. That keeps them from having to lose their

Spring Break or much of their summer break.

But, no plans for us. I'm workin'. We usually don't do anything during

Spring Break. We have fall breaks here, and usually go somewhere then.

We try to take a nice vacation during the summer as well. This year in

June, I'm planning to take everyone to Gatlinburg for a few days, then

up to Great Wolf Lodge, my son's favorite place in the whole wide

world :), for a couple of days. That place is HELLA expensive.

Waiting to find out how all our snow days will impact spring break before I confirm my plans... was hoping to go somewhere. If not, I'll be calling the oral surgeon every morning to see if any cancellations happened and offer them my wisdom teeth.

Spring break starts at 4:00pm today. Headed to Boston with my grown kids for a history vacation, Boston/Salem. Very excited. I have never traveled the East coast. Looking forward to eating a lot of clam chowder and lobster. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
