Mine starts 3/9 @ 3 PM.
Not a fun vacay for me, but r&r will be fine. My son is in the school play so there is practice next week and my mother has an angiogram F/U from a brain aneurysm we found this summer (All good).
I want to live vicariously through your plans!
Spring break starts at 4:00pm today. Headed to Boston with my grown kids for a history vacation, Boston/Salem. Very excited. I have never traveled the East coast. Looking forward to eating a lot of clam chowder and lobster. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
You have to go to the North end and get pastry form Mikes on Hanover St!
Home of the Cannoli – North End, Harvard Square, Assembly Row – Boston, MA | Mike's Pastry
If they kids want try a tour of historic Fenway, they run year long I think
Boston Red Sox Fenway Park Tours
Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall
Just a few...Enjoy!! One of my favorite cities!
I went to Boston 3 years ago with my son's social studies class...we did just about everything the history tours had to offer. Quite impressive and soooo much fun. Walked a lot!! We did a ghost tour and went into the "Cheers" bar. I climbed to the tip top of the Bunker Hill Memorial and got some fantastic photos of Boston; but then I had to come back down! So I challenge you to climb the Bunker Hill Memorial!! Have a great time - we did.
Boston is my second favorite city.

Salem is awesome as well as Boston! GO to The House of Seven Gables, the Witch house and the Pirate museum are all great! Finz restaurant in Salem is great!!
Just to warn you though, we just got a foot of snow, after having another bad storm that really rocked the coast, so not sure how it is looking! (I dont live in Salem, my sister does though). ALSO, it might be cold or hot....it changes fast around here! Have fun!
