What's your favorite pair of nursing shoes?

Which brand and why? For some reason, I've tried NB, Adidas and my feet still hurt!!!! Maybe I need to buy those gel soles or something..

Does your employer address which kinds of shoes you can wear? The hospital where I work just recently banned Crocs because of too many slips and falls with them. I personally cannot wear Berkenstocks. I paid $120 for a pair and could never wear them because I had such terrible back pain that within a few hours I could barely walk. I like Propet shoes myself. Very comfortable and not terribly expensive and the look nice too.

Love my Quarks. They last forever..just replace the insoles.

Croks? Are you kidding me, with all those holes? Look at what falls on your shoes, man. I don't want that stuff on my socks or toes!!!!!!

I envy you all. I wear mens size 15 EE. I have only one choice and that is Nike. I have no problem at all finding work boots (like Redwing ect) and hunting boots in my size, but shoes for nursing in another matter. I see nurses wearing Crocks and the like and wish I could wear them.

I have about 5 different pairs of nursing shoes including danskos. The ones I love the best are my quarks clogs. The first couple days they hurt my feet, but now I wear them 12hrs/3 nights in a row and my feet and legs are better then ever. Don't get me wrong...no matter what I do including changing shoes half way thru shift my feet still hurt some but they feel better then they ever have since I have been wearing my quarks.

I used to always buy oxford type shoes from Payless. They are really great for the price.

About a year ago I got Quarks online and they are SO light and comfortable!

Recently i ordered another pair but they were clog like. My foot flopped out because the heel was too low so I sent them back.

Since I don't wear the same shoes 2 nights in a row (sweaty feet) I got more cheap ones.

Are the Easy Spirit really light weight?
