Which brand and why? For some reason, I've tried NB, Adidas and my feet still hurt!!!! Maybe I need to buy those gel soles or something..
I have about 5 different pairs of nursing shoes including danskos. The ones I love the best are my quarks clogs. The first couple days they hurt my feet, but now I wear them 12hrs/3 nights in a row and my feet and legs are better then ever. Don't get me wrong...no matter what I do including changing shoes half way thru shift my feet still hurt some but they feel better then they ever have since I have been wearing my quarks.
I used to always buy oxford type shoes from Payless. They are really great for the price.
About a year ago I got Quarks online and they are SO light and comfortable!
Recently i ordered another pair but they were clog like. My foot flopped out because the heel was too low so I sent them back.
Since I don't wear the same shoes 2 nights in a row (sweaty feet) I got more cheap ones.
Are the Easy Spirit really light weight?

Does your employer address which kinds of shoes you can wear? The hospital where I work just recently banned Crocs because of too many slips and falls with them. I personally cannot wear Berkenstocks. I paid $120 for a pair and could never wear them because I had such terrible back pain that within a few hours I could barely walk. I like Propet shoes myself. Very comfortable and not terribly expensive and the look nice too.
