Which brand and why? For some reason, I've tried NB, Adidas and my feet still hurt!!!! Maybe I need to buy those gel soles or something..

Specializes in CCU,OB,Med/Surg,Tele,Home Health, QA.

I love my Crocs, but I just bought a pair of Zcoil shoes. These have helped my plantar faciitis and achilles tendonitis tremendously!! No pain when I walk whatsoever!:):monkeydance:

Dansko Clogs (professional line) - great arch support, thick rubber soles to reduce strain of standing on hard floors, water/heat/chemical resistant, lots of colors to match whatever you want/need. Only downside is they're pretty expensive.

I have a very low arch and tennis shoes are very uncomfortable to me. I wear the thinnest flats I can find. Feels like barefoot.

air walks, love them.

My Streetcars are the most comfortable longest lasting shoes I've ever owned.

My feet were killing me, hurt so bad I cried. Would never wear clogs, thought they were dangerous. Finally got talked into buying a pair of 120$ Dansko's. My feet stopped aching IMMEDIATELY!!, My ankles are still aching but not as badly as my feet did.

Specializes in Geriatric and now peds!!!!.

I wear Nike tennis shoes with an Dr. Scholl arch support insert. My feet and back no longer hurt. The Nikes wash well and have lasted.

dansko

only others I have worn at work are regular NB tennis shoes when i first started but I like dansko a lot better. My feet never ache at the end of the day. I would never consider wearing the crocs with the holes in them ever but from reading in here that there are ones without holes I may check em out next time I'm in the market for some new shoes.

Specializes in ER/Trauma.

I just got a pair of Crocs silver clouds for Christmas and I LOVE THESE SHOES! I never thought I would like them, but I swear to you, my feet have never felt better. Yesterday it was raining so I wore my Nikes instead and by the 6th hour in my feet were hurting. For the record, I was treated for heel spurs about 10 years ago when I was working in the factories. I haven't gotten back to the point of needing injections/treatment again (knock on wood), but my Nikes were hurting after about 8 hours on.

I think I will order a pair of the Crocs RX to try as well.

I love a pair of cherokee clogs that I purchased for around $25. My feet have never known such comfort and I think I have tried just about every brand out there.

Specializes in Spinal Rehab (2yr), neuro, currently ICU.

got two pairs Rockport and hush puppies ( bought them ages ago, they serve me well, are comfortable and look good too)

Specializes in Alzheimer's Disease, Geriatrics.

Dr. Sholls are good, and I just bought some Dansko's they are a little pricey, but they are so comfy.
