What's your favorite pair of nursing shoes?

Which brand and why? For some reason, I've tried NB, Adidas and my feet still hurt!!!! Maybe I need to buy those gel soles or something..

Cheap pair of no name clogs. I like them better than Nurse Mates.

i just got New Balance clogs- they rock! they look like tennis shoes, but are clogs. I have already had to wash blood off them and it came right off. Try them!

Earth brand athletic shoes. I am a baby boomer, and you just can't beat the negative heel tech.

Nike is what I like. They are very comfortable, last a long time, and wash well. Can be expensive sometimes but hey...I need to take care of my feet!

Posting for everyone looking for something besides Crocs and Danskos! I have been a loyal Dansko wearer for years before becoming a nurse, but have found they don't work for me by the middle of my 12 hour shift. Done a LOT of research and finally have become a true fan of the Quark's Pro Air II. They are non-skid, closed back, light as air, CUSHIONED, fully enclosed but vented, and oh so comfy on my large feet. They form a sort of seal around your foot so you don't step out of them. Also, you can't beat the price for the quality. My search is finally over! Still need an insert if you have higher arches, but this is true with any shoe. I admit they don't look as cute as Danskos, but well...time to take care of my feet I guess so I can still wear cute shoes OUTSIDE of work!

I bought a cheap $35 pair of no name brand nursing shoes much to my feets' dismay for nursing school... But now I'm gelln in Dr. Showells Gell inserts and my are they comfy!!!! I recomend them to anyone!

Birkenstock's work for me. They're pricey and take alot to break in, but last forever, can be reconditioned for a minimal amount and still keep going. My feet and legs never hurt or get tired...well worth every penny IMHO.

SAS. Light as a feather w/ custom cushion insoles that mold to your feet and make you feel like you're walking on air all day. I was skeptical, but I was wrong. They are incredible.

Dansko clogs. Can't beat them!!

I took a chance and ordered shoes online and they've been working out nicely. They're Cherokee Rockers and the model is Flash. Kind of like an old school nursing shoe-clunky type mary janes.

Crocs, Veggies, Quark...I am totally addicted. I have so many colors and multi-colored ones my husband laughs at me. They are so comfortable! Pair them with my scrubs and I feel like I live in my PJ's and slippers. I own neon green, pink and swirly blue ones, white, black, red, and neon yellow...and I am thinking about ordering some orange ones too.

Is there a support group.

I also own nursemates and New Balance but they just don't feel as comfy.

I love my dansko clogs, they keep my feet comfortable all night through my 12 hr shift. Lightning Bug RN ;)
