as inspired by another thread, here's a motivational question! i guess this is more of a question for those of us who haven't had a real career before nursing....
what will you do with your first "real" paycheck?
i'm going straight to the salon. new cut, highlights, facial, mani, pedi...the works!
then, straight to the mall with my plastic because for the first time in my life it won't be just for "emergencies" anymore!
i can't wait!
This is such a fun thread! I still have a while before I will see that first paycheck but I will def. start pulling my weight on bills that my boyfriend has been so generously covering (Hopefully this will lead to a ring and a wedding too ;-) ) Take him on a nice weekend getaway for doing 15 credit hours of study at school along with 35 hours at work just to let me completely dedicate my self to nursing school, all while being there to cheer me on and provide emotional support! Also, give something nice to my parents for all their emotional and financial support! Oh and when my mom graduates nursing school we are going on a cruise together! Oh I can't wait!
I will finally be able to buy all healthy food and vitamins.... for all the crap i have been eating. i want an ab machine. pay back everyone i owe. but say a prayer to them first because they are so mad ive been neglecting them about the money i owe..... thank god.. save for a car.. and have a savings account for my daughter as well.... also buy her clothes and save for a nice trip somewhere in jamaica or something.... get some tour bus money and drive all over the world.....
buy me some new clothes.... and give back to the poor..... maybe a meal or a very nice gift for somebody...... it feels good.... to give back
