Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!
I'll tell you one thing, if I was a crime lord like Putin, Erdogan, Bolsanaro or Orban etc I would spend a fortune in trying to employ Trump. When Trump said that he only hires the best people, what he didn't say was that he is a genius at hiring crooks and attracting criminals!
Man, have you ever, ever heard of anyone who has ever been surrounded or involved with so many crooks? El Chapo etc, don't even know if he's actually a real person or not, must be kicking themselves for not letting Trump run their businesses.
What a country we live in. People who love celebrities so much that they will even go to jail for them. How can you not possibly see Trump coming or what he's all about and be stupid enough to Icarus yourself? I have never watched the show he's famous for, because as a businessman I know that I would have heard something that may have prompted me to want to try it, but I also knew that if Trump was involved, it would be illegal. For someone who can barely name five famous celebrities, Trump even back then was on my radar for criminality.
Dude is in a league of his own!

It's one thing to take a bullet for someone you know has got your back. But, to fo this for someone that doesn't care for anyone, including his family, but himself, I don't get it.

Yes, I did read the article but still believe that there was a difference in tactics between the two parties. 1. The Republicans had to return 3X the amount the Dems did. 2. The hysteria by both parties is repugnant (why I unsubscribed to the Dems) but hysteria is not quite the same as making the "make this a one time only" designation in print so tiny it's difficult to read . I know that Act Blue makes each donation amount box equal in size so it's clear. Not much here to say except that the bars are longer for older people. However, if you read it closely, you will not that the people over 80 years old did BETTER than their cohorts who were a decade younger. Also, refunds in California were distributed over non-skewered age groups. Both of these facts cofound the graphs. The only take away we know for sure is that older folks are more susceptible to giving money away (unless you are a Dem over 80 or live in California) and that Republicans had to refund 3X the amount that the Dems did. Why a single study doesn't tell us much.
Dysfunction and damage control at the Harris Office.

You'd think Fox News would be all over this story, but their 2nd headline is an analysis of "Kamala's Cackle".
Fox should cover the 2nd worst Donald's death and how many people's deaths he engineered incl over 7000 Americans and over 300k Iraqis with his lies. Then he felt the need to buy and live in a slavers house but not just any slavers house, just one of the most brutal ones! So brutal that, other slavers sent their slaves to him for discipline!
Hopefully, Liz Cheney is changed because her father was also the architect of that war based on all lies that still has negative repercussions today re the middle east politics. Iran wouldn't be in the position to cause any trouble if Cheney and Rumsfeld knew any history or weren't the typical greedy American businessman.

Culture wars are the best thing going for Fox...it's common for them to focus upon women for demeaning observations and commentary.

Our city had an Open Heart Surgeon (55+) who ended up in jail for a night for beating his wife. All his surgeries were canceled and he is long gone. He was considered a a good surgeon. Civil behavior DOES matter

Yeah...character matters...unless you are a Trump supporter...then character only matters sometimes, under specific and partisan circumstances.

Sorry, not to me! Like Charles Barkley says, he's no role model. As long as you can do the job, I think you should be there, unless you are the president or a priest or a teacher or a parent.
It clearly states in the Bible that I don't believe in, Judge not least ye be judged. It may be the edginess of that surgeon that made him good. I say surround him with observant, careful people and use his skills.
Where do you put the brakes on re judging people? Firstly their behaviors, then what about a foreigner who may have different ideas about behaviors? What's next, looks? Skin color? Sexual orientation? Size? Sex? Smell? I expect reasonable behaviors for the society and job at hand eg as long as that surgeon doesn't come in inebriated, keeps up with the board's educational requirements and doesn't abuse or hit co workers, I wouldn't care if he sat on cacti, in his spare time or looked like Daffy Duck!

Maybe. How long did those behaviors go on for and no one cared. You didn't say why his surgeries were cancelled. And, you said ALL were cancelled when its likely only a very small number even knew he was arrested. So, not a very good example of people caring about civil behavior. And, I can find examples everyday of people not caring.
