Funny how he completely skirted the issue about the declassification process. He made the scenario more of a king waving a wand to manipulate document classification status to be his God-authorized rights to do with as he pleased. This makes Corcoran the court jester. What a fool.

Indeed.
I found the last part, where he wanted his letter forwarded to all manner of officials as if it was an official guide to investigating Trump's malfeasance, particularly informative. And what kind of exculpatory evidence did Corcoran think was going to be found in those boxes of documents that Trump wasn't supposed to be in possession of?
Classified Material on Human Intelligence Sources Helped Trigger Alarm https://nyti.ms/3CEw7iG
Quote Nothing in the documents released on Friday described the precise content of the classified documents or what risk their disclosure might carry for national security, but the court papers did outline the kinds of intelligence found in the secret material, including foreign surveillance collected under court orders, electronic eavesdropping on communications and information from human sources — spies.

I wonder if members here remember what happened when ex-ambassader Joe Wison made public claims that the details leading to our military incursion into IRAQ were thin and insufficient to justify the mission. He suggested that republicans were using exaggeration and hyperbole rather than facts. Do you remember what happened?
Quite a number of high level Republicans came after him, people like Karl Rove outted his wife in her overseas CIA undercover work. Rove exposed the identity of a human CIA asset and put her life in peril. Most of the Republicans involved with that were given a pass in the legal system. The GOP had no problem airing secrets for their political gain... after they lied to get us into a war.
And here we are...
Oh...and then there's this;
Quote Last year, a top-secret memo sent to every C.I.A. station around the world warned about troubling numbers of informants being captured or killed, a stark reminder of how important human source networks are to the basic functions of the spy agency.

Last year. Last year...
you know, that same time frame that Trump has been maintaining a stash of secret documents that deal with precisely this kind of information... what an odd coincidence.

Ahh - the durable Republican majority guy.
Interesting …
He seems quite willing to toss trump under the bus now that he can’t serve as a useful idiot anymore.
So … who’s next? DeSantis?

It's an interesting coincidence, isn't it?
