Just curious what different hospitals, clinics, organizations etc are giving their staff over the holidays this year. As a nurse I've never gotten more than a couple hundred bucks as a Christmas bonus but it's always appreciated when employers give a little extra. What are you getting this year? Cash? Coffee mug? Please share!
Gosh, all of you sound so bitter about your jobs. This site seriously makes me wonder wth I'm getting myself into. Honestly.
Not everyone is bitter, I assure you.
I've never gotten anything more than a $20 gift card to Walmart, but I don't mind. I don't really expect anything during any holidays so whatever is given is truly a bonus.

Nothing! Apparently, I am just supposed to be thankful that I have a job as we didn't even get raises this past year due to the 'poor economy'.
I didn't even get an extra day off work with pay..just got an extra days of pay but still work my regular amt of hours. This is my 5th night in a row...someone said that there was a Holiday this week....
in 24 years of nursing nothing from organization (i have always worked in patient hospital setting )except time and 1/2 for the hrs i worked on holiday .no bonus"s here .have had a few years where the drs have given 15-20 dollar gift certificates which was nice.and no i am not bitter don't expect a bonus.
