TIPS/Info for passing NCLEX

Published

Hi,

To everyone who passed recent nclex-rn, can you please share what helped you best (cd's, printed materials, etc..) ? Where to focus? and how did you study/prepare?

thanks... this will help a lot of us who are scheduled to take the exams soon

i failed nclex in july and retook it this week and passed. i used suzanne's plan that is based on saunder's comprehensive review. this time around i did get a lot of harder questions such as priority, meds and select all that apply.

hi everyone, im new here. i will be taking my nclex rn exam very soon. for those recently passed the nclex, can you help me please what topic do i need to study more. i took nclex twice and failed. i should make it to pass this time with your help.

thanks. i appreciate any help.

please read:

it is actually illegal to share a user name and password that you have purchased for study material, including kaplan's program. it is considered stealing since you never purchased it, and asking someone to provide it to you is not the thing to do. kaplan does proscecute for this, as well as the other companies around the world.

please do not ask others to do something illegal for you, and post about it here.

thank you in advance.......:balloons:

Specializes in Critical Care, Cardiothoracics, VADs.

I'd say don't try to memorise all the drugs, but the different drug classes by their action and the drugs for common disorders.

eg. end in -olol = beta blocker, end in -pril = ACE inhibitor etc, different insulin types

Pray hard, and use Kaplan!!!! They teach you how the NCLEX wants you to think....!!!!!!! Kaplan, prayers, Kaplan, Prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck everyone!!!
