  1. hi telc. It's okay if the payment will come from your aunt in San Jose and mail it from there... So would you be using her address there or your Philippline address? If you placed your aunt's address in your application form, BON will mail all correspondence to that address. Please be reminded that all documents you've requested from school like TOR should be mailed from Philippines. Don't include it in your application packet because it has to be mailed separately. Apparently, it has to be mailed directly by your respective school to BON. Hope this helps. Happy New Year!
  2. Hi Echota... I'm so proud and so happy for you!!! I really wish, it would be my turn to bring on the good news the next time :-) Will follow your advice:-) Congratulations!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
  3. iww posted the wrong info... but here it is... The NCSBN retake policy allows candidates to retake their examination 45 days after administration of their examination. Candidates who have applied for licensure with a participating board of nursing will be permitted to take the NCLEX® examination eight times a year, but no more than once in any 45-day period, unless limited to fewer retakes by the desired jurisdiction of licensure. Note: The following boards of nursing do NOT participate in the 45-day retake period. Candidates are encouraged to contact these boards of nursing for their policy on NCLEX Examination retakes: Georgia-RN, Guam, and Washington.
  4. oh hey... i've just seen this info about the retake policy The National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. (NCSBN) voted at its Dec. 5-7, 2006 meeting to raise the passing standard for the NCLEX-RN examination (the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses). The new passing standard is -0.2100 logits on the NCLEX-RN logistic scale, 0.070 logits higher than the previous standard of -0.2800. The new passing standard will take effect on April 1, 2007, in conjunction with the 2007 NCLEX-RN Test Plan. https://www.ncsbn.org/513.htm
  5. sorry to hear that we had the same fate... we better go get into studying again and keep our focus on our goal :-) try to check NCSBN... about the 45 day rule .. God bless!
  6. hi torque... have you started your application with CA BON? It would be best that you have applied for CA BON ( takes three months if you're from outside US) and have your eligibility letter prior to pursuing your plan. You may schedule to take your exam in US for as long as you have your eligibility letter and a valid visa. PM me at grace_0310 if you have your yahoo... :-)
