hi guys..i'm a newbie here..just wanna ask where to avail the saunders..princeton and NCLEX 3000 CD?..and how much?..replies will be highly appreciated..i'm planning to take nclex nxt yr..thnx! Godbless every1..

I failed NCLEX in July and retook it this week and passed. I used Suzanne's plan that is based on Saunder's Comprehensive Review. This time around I did get a lot of harder questions such as priority, meds and select all that apply.

I have been reading this post with interest too, I am a Brititish trained nurse recently moved to Texas. Hopefully will sit Nclex soon. I did registered training in 1987 , Midwifery in 1989 and BSc in 1996, most of my experience is in Midwifery and I need to Pass the nclex .Are there any British nurses out there with any tips. I am finding the drug names difficult to learn. I am averaging 60-65% on Kaplan but havnt learnt drugs yet these questions I struggle with.

i'm using saunders for my review but i'm not halfway yet but i find it really good..am also using kaplan's question trainer..hope by the time my nclex application gets approved, i'm done with my studying.:)

Review disaster planning and triage....................included on most of the recent exams and most programs do not teach it, the newer programs are just now starting to include it..................

Good luck................... :balloons:

Hi! I am so confused on what the real exam will be like.. if the comp shuts down at 75, does that mean that you passed or what? what is the scoring way of nclex? thanks! hope to hear from you soon.

I will be taking the NCLEX exam in a few days. I have prepared with the Saunders Compehensive Book and Suzanne's plan. Please pray for me this is my second time around and I really want to do it this time.

I have taken the NCLEX three times and failed with 265 question two out of the three times. I am optimistic that the fourth time is my lucky number. Nursing is my passion and will pass with God's help. I have one major concern, I am worried that I have been too far from nursing (having graduated from nursing school over 1 year ago) and that I have forgotten too much. Does anyone out there have any advice or good words to help encourage me? Is one year away from active nursing too long?

Anything will help. Thank you and take care,

hi, i read your message and thanks for the tips. im having a hard time reviewing, im just using saunders comprehensive review and saunders Q&A, do you have any books to suggest? actually im just self reviewing so i joined this forum to just get any ideas or tips that can really help me. thanks a lot

Sure.. I did take a NCLEX review course, and they told us to buy an updated NCLEX book (Saunders/Lippincott) and use the CD-roms in the back of the book..tons of questions/tests/quizzes on them! I like the cd-roms because you answer the question and if you get in wrong it gives a rationalle right away! Also, go over normal assesmnets and lab values... The meds I got were diabetic/TB/Lithium/Antubuse/Mag..uhm... Only got one math...easy... and TONS of priority questions...Like who will I see first..d/c first... I was able to narrow alot down to two and then it got wierd :uhoh21: .. heehee!!! When do you take the test??? I have a bunch of questions still in my head! If I can help anymore just lemme know!!! Best of luck meow!

Hi everyone! I would just like to ask your opinion if Kaplan NCLEX PN Qbank can also help me in preparation for my NCLEX exam. Failed two times on the exam already. Feels like I don't want to take it anymore because of might fail it again. Please need your recommendation on this. Thanks in advance.
