TMC prioritize nclex passers?.. .as long as i can remember, they don't do this. That's why applicants in TMC don't usually share during interviews that they passed for they may lose the local job.This is based from my experience.please support your answer.where did you got the idea? any reliable information? and Rochart?.. .they aren't tied up.

well..in the mean time,it will be of big help to her since it's really tough back home right? volunteer work?..yeah.nothing wrong with that. just let her do it..it is better than not doing anything. and it seems she's not up to working to any other countries yet. so now?..volunteer work.it does matter.

i was a previous employee of The Medical City from '05-'07.. . i received 8K during the first few months and went up to 10K. the hiring processing during my time was quite a bit fast compared now. chelseven

i was a previous employee of the medical city.during my time 2005,the processing was a bit fast.after i took & passed the PRC Board Exam of December 2005,i quickly applied & passed my requirements straight to HR (now,i heard you must drop everything to a box like St. Luke's).. .then after a week,i received a text message about my exam schedule. After taking the exam ( 2 sets), one in the morning then the other in the afternoon), further instructions was given like, they will just call me for an interview within 2 weeks because i still have to wait with my exam's result. Luckily, after 2 weeks, I was already scheduled for an interview.That's around 2nd week of January 2006. Then, last week of January, i'm already attending the training. :yelclap: I'm receiving php 8K during the first few months and went up until 10K. I've been there until last year. Now i'm here in Singapore.. . chel

Hi there my fellow nurses. It's been awhile since I last posted here. I have been reading the thread from the first page until I decided or I feel like I really want to react to this thread. I'm currently working here in Singapore. And just to let you all know, if you happened to be an EN in the first place that you came here for work, you can also be an RN after you finished your 2 years of contract. And you may be asking me further how is it going to happen? You can approach your respective nurse manager if you really wanted to take the exam required to take for you to be upgraded as an RN. To became an RN in Singapore? It is an option. It can be achieved.so please let us help each other. If you know something that is really happening here in SG, please share it. I was upset because the question here really is how to get in SG right? Why is it that I even read one reply about maids? We are professionals here? Am I the only one here feeling the thought that somebody here is referring Filipinos to just go and leave the country to become a maid? Filipinos have more of themselves than doing domestic jobs, please. I think the topic and the point jumped!

Applying on a local hospital, and knowing that you are already a licensed nurse in the States. . .it won't help you out in landing a job here in the Phils. why?..i think the HR personnels are smart enough to think that you are just going to use them for your nursing experience w/o even finishing their 2 years contract. Let's just say, they worked hard to train you on their very own facility and yet?..the others will benefit. That's just my opinion and from what I noticed here in the Phils. Just a piece of advice when applying, leave your USRN application or licensed "thing" in the house and just mention your local board. It has nothing to do here.

THe Medical City - JCI Accredited During my time, just last year, there is no single fee on trainings. You will be attending the Human Resources dept. training for corporate/service architecture for 2 weeks. Then under the Nursing Service Office/Clinical trainings for 2 weeks or more. You will be exposed to the floor. Schedule of duty is an 8 hours shift. Salary is just within the industry. =) And before I forget, there is a 2 year contract.

i'm using NSNA (Delmar Learning) by Alice Stein for content.. and my friend who took the NCLEX-RN recently advised me to read some on SAUNDERS. . . but what i'm getting from NSNA is quite enough for now..and still plans to read the entire book. i'll purchase SAUNDERS soon. One at a time.
