NCLEX lottery+$200.00=Nursing shortage? Maybe.
I met a seasoned LPN in the ICU that could knock a couple of RN's socks off. It's all about experience. Plain and simple. I've observed plenty of residents asking the nurses what they should do? Go figure:uhoh3:

Nclex in 3 days, my kaplan scores
I got a 57% on my test #7 and I passed NCLEX RN Monday with 96 questions. I never took the readiness test. I also believe luck does play a part with this test. It totally depends on the questions you get and how well you know the content. If everyone got the same test things would be much different. Your scores are good. Take your time and try to relax as if you are at home in front of your own computer. Best of luck.

Took NCLEX RN today, 105 questions
Hi all. I took the dreaded test today. I don't feel terrible about it nor do I feel good about it. Surprisingly, I don't feel afraid or a nervous wreck as some have reported. I had 9 med calculation problems, 3 select all that apply and tons of questions on meds and priority. I had 1 ob question, a couple of psych questions and who would you see first. I feel like the questions kept getting harder. From reading the responses from others I know that is suppose to be a good sign. However, when the computer did not shut off at 75 I felt worried but I knew I was still in the game. I kept getting reapeat questions about (cant say the name). They asked me about this med 3 times in various ways. I know I got it correct because I know the correct way to administer it. This test is really confusing. It is like no other test that I have taken. I did kaplan and tons of questions but I don't know if it really helped. I guess I will find out Monday or Tuesday.

Sooo nervous
I am very afraid as well. I take my nclex rn on august 11th. I am doing the kaplan online course. I try to do 50 questions per day from the qbank. I know that doesn't seem like much but I also study the course book everyday. I start my new job as GN on monday June 18th. I am so afraid of not passing and getting demoted to a tech. All I can do now since I have two months to prepare is to keep doing what I've been doing and not get lazy. I pray that I do ok. I was a hi C low B student in nursing school. I wish I had studied more than I did.
