  1. :jester:Thanks again for all the prayers...I'm lucky to have such a great network of support. I have some NCLEX review materials that I would be willing to pass on to anyone who needs them - just let me know!
  2. Yeah....I PASSED!! Thank goodness...it was so worth it. I am now a real Registered Nurse. I accepted a job, received the degree and now I passed the exam so it is official...I can put those two letters behind my name now RN. What an emotional roller coaster. Good luck to those of you who are still waiting to take the exam...you will do great!! Thanks to everyone for all their support...you all knew I would pass even when I wasn't sure...you're the best!!
  3. Congrats to you!! I passed too!! Thank goodness. I was also worried about what I would tell everyone if I failed. I was so thrilled to be able to tell everyone that now I'm a real nurse...I received the degree, I passed the exam and I have a job. I'm so glad I never have to take that exam again. Good luck to everyone else.
  4. I can feel your pain...I just took the exam a few days ago and I'm now waiting for the dreaded results. I think you must be prepared for the exam if you have been studying and getting those kind of results on the practice exam. The only advice I would offer to you is practice a bunch of prioritization questions in the next couple of days but don't do a lot of studying the day before. Take the time to relax, rest and get a good night's sleep. I'm sure you'll do GREAT!
  5. I'm sitting here waiting until the clock ticks over to 9am so that I can check the QuickResults to see if I passed that dreaded exam!! I took the exam on Wednesday June 27th and it was the worst exam I have ever taken. I only got around 80 questions and they were almost all prioritizing questions...no med calcs, no basic knowledge, and no delegation questions. I had a bunch of questions that dealt with medications I have never heard of, lots of urology questions and some prioritization questions that were really, really tough. It was easy to eliminate two of the options but the final two were so close I felt like I was guessing on most of them. I walked out of the testing center "numb" and feeling like I must be the most stupid person in the world. I have accepted a position in the surgical ICU at a major teaching hospital and now I feel like I should run as fast as I can in the opposite direction. What was I thinking...I have no business in the ICU. I have to keep telling myself to stay positive because I know that I can do this job - I did a lengthy internship in that SICU and received stellar remarks from my preceptor but this exam has been the death of my self confidence for sure. I did the unthinkable and looked up the answers to some of the questions I could remember right after the exam and this is only driving me more crazy....if you haven't taken the exam yet - DON'T DO THIS! The one saving grace has been reading all the other posts here and realizing that many of us have felt the same way while waiting for our results. Okay 10 more minutes to go....I'll post the results shortly.:uhoh21:
