  1. hi..i just want to have a clarification about a question in the application form..16c, the month and day that i should write down for the NCLEX-RN is the date i sat the exams which was august 30, 2007 or should it be the date written on the passing letter they sent me which was september 14, 2007? the state and country: is it the place where i took it (in my case, it's in makati, philippines)? or the state where i applied in (California)? and lastly, i should tick NO for the question asking whether passing of the exam led to the issuance of a license, right? since technically, i'm not licensed yet coz i don't have a SSN. My questions seem so lame, .. but i really want to get this right..so any help would be appreciated..thanks!
  2. Oh...so if she works as an EN in Singapore, she has no hopes of becoming an RN there? Thanks again Ms. Suzanne..
  3. Hi guys! I was just wondering, if an RN from the Philippines comes to Singapore to work as an EN, can she take the Singapore board exams for RNs after, let's say a year of working? Thanks!
  4. hi! i was wondering whether you were able to find answers for your inquiries? i'm pretty much having the same "problem" with the application now and i don't have any ideas on how to go about this..hope you could help me out..thanks..
  5. how many questions you had on your exam? 75 what did you use as a review material? saunders comprehensive and q&a, kaplan books and cds, nclex cram enrolled in a review center or home study? enrolled in kaplan for 3 months then did home-study for 2 months percentage of topics youre very familiar with on the actual nclex questions? during the actual exams, i wasn't sure of anything at all. what did you feel after you finish your exam? mixed emotions. then i went back to the hotel feeling like i had a thousand pound weights on my shoulders and my relatives were assuring me that i was gonna make it. sure enough, after 15 days, i'm a usrn. all praises to god!!!
  6. HI! I would really want your advice on this, I just passed the NCLEX, and a relative of mine from California was suggesting a convalescent home which can sponsor me. Should I take it or look for hospitals that do direct hires? By the way, they're offering $33/hr, 5 years contract (this got me worried). Thanks..
  7. you are so right, i just found out today that i passed the nclex. i am so happy, i had a smile on my face the whole day. to god be the glory!!! woohoo!!! i'm now a us-rn!
  8. Thanks a lot..that cleared things for me..
  9. it's been 5 days since I took the exams, i've been checking the Ca BRN website twice a day and I still haven't seen my name on it..The computer shut off at the 75th question, I had three SATA questions, lots of priority and delegations and one medication which I've never heard of before..does that mean I failed? I've been having stomach ache these past couple of days which must be due to hyperacidity or ulcer most probably. I wish I could find out the results sooner, the suspense is killing me.
  10. hi! i need help in choosing a review center for my nclex review..i'm planning on taking the exams in april..which is better? kaplan or gapuz? thanks...
  11. 2nd born but 1st female but i might as well be considered as the first born in the family..our firstborn drinks a looot, did not even finish school, no job, with 2 kids but no wife..in other words, no sense of responsibility...my 2 younger sibs are nurses too..my parents are not alcoholics..they're not even social drinkers....
  12. i'm using saunders for my review but i'm not halfway yet but i find it really good..am also using kaplan's question trainer..hope by the time my nclex application gets approved, i'm done with my studying.:)
