TIPS/Info for passing NCLEX

Published

Hi,

To everyone who passed recent nclex-rn, can you please share what helped you best (cd's, printed materials, etc..) ? Where to focus? and how did you study/prepare?

thanks... this will help a lot of us who are scheduled to take the exams soon

how do you get in touch with suzanne to do her study guide, I'm new to the site and don't really know what to do

Passed 1st time w/ 75 questions.

I studied for about 2 1/2 months. A little bit each day (was working on permit too!).

I used Saunders and Suzannes guide/info. Thanks Suzanne! you can find the info by checking the Sticky: First tip of my new study guide

I was pretty much done with the Saunders CD so I did the questions on NCSBN online and the Kaplan Question Trainer.

I personally found the Kaplan Question Trainer questions and format most like the NCLEX. Either way all the questions and rationales will help you to study and if you're weak in an area, review it (saunders book is a good quick review)

Good Luck All!

hi paula, have a question, im recently applying for nclex... but now word from vermont yet.... how long will it take.. hope ul take time to answer me... i dont know what to do.. i passed the local board exam in the philippines... but no license number yet... it will take about 4 months or so before i get my number. i wrote on the application form that my license no is still under process.. i wrote a letter of explanation attached with my application.. u think its gona be okay??

Hi Sisir,

I am also from Nepal. I am going to take NCLEX-RN on November.I am really scared. Good luck to you.

I failed the NCLEX-PN about 2 weeks ago. I was soooooooooo depressed, I went in knowing the material but the anxiety got the best of me. I would like to know some relaxation techniques to use prior to taking the exam. Also what is the link to the Kaplan review. I am determined to pass the second time. I plan to test again next month. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Does anyone have an unexpired kaplan qbank subscription that I could use for a week? I would be willing to compensate you for your time. Please PM me thanks!
