TIPS/Info for passing NCLEX

Hi,

To everyone who passed recent nclex-rn, can you please share what helped you best (cd's, printed materials, etc..) ? Where to focus? and how did you study/prepare?

thanks... this will help a lot of us who are scheduled to take the exams soon

what am i gonna do could i take the review for nclex while our license here is still on a hot seat?

# OF QUESTIONS: 265!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I USED: SUZANNES STUDY GUIDE: SAUNDERS..ETC., SAUNDERS Q & A BOOK..I NEARLY FINISHED IT, FEUER REVIEW CD'S IN MY CAR!!! (ALL I DID WAS LISTEN TO NURSING MATERIAL!!!) , I TOOK KAPLAN..DID QUESTION TRAINERS, SAMPLE TESTS, Q-BANK

MY SCHOOL USED ATI...BUT I ALSO DIDNT FIND THAT HELPFUL..IT WAS EASY..AND NOT A RELIABLE PREDICTOR IN MY OPINION.

I ALSO USED A LINK THAT WAS VERY HELPFUL..WITH INFECTION CONTROL..THAT I FOUND ON THIS WEBSITE.

I DIDNT DO WELL ON THOSE KAPLAN TESTS..I THAT MADE ME NERVOUS..I GOT IN THE 50-80..BUT MOSTLY 50'S...I PERSERVED..DESPITE MY SCORES..AND DID THEM UNTIL I GOT 100% ...HANG IN THERE..AND CLOSE OUT THE WORLD FOR A MINUTE..BECAUSE LIKE MY BESTFRIEND SAID...NO ONE TAKES THE TEST WITH YOU..EXCEPT GOD..SO HAVE FAITH..AND MAKE TIME TO STUDY.

i am taking a practicl nursing neclex do we have any pn nurses that took the test very interested how it went.

im not yet reviewing for nclex coz im still confused where state am i going to apply..and our license here were still hanging..

does anyone here knows what state gives the faster time for eligibility to take the nclex-rn?

I hope this helps. I can send you the Lippincott book in case you're interested and I think I have the NCLEX 3000 CD here as well...anything to help a fellow nurse. Best wishes. :)

Hi everyone.

I would like to share my expereance about my NCLEX -RN. I took NCLEX-RN last Friday. My exam was shut down at 75. I got 5 or 6 of all that apply questions,1 med and others were prioritizing and client teaching.I was so nervous.But I thought may be I did well because I study well. Anyway I got my results today. I was suprised I passed.

Actually I used Suzanne's study guide with Saunders review and some of my nursing school study materials. I reviewed almost all of the reviews and 4200 review questions from the CD. I studied 5-6 hrs every day with 100 questions and rationals. I also marked down topics when doing questions that I want to review again and try to do them same day.

I think it is not very hard to pass the nclex if you study well.
