  1. hi i am a forigen nurse preparing to take the NCLEX soon reading the answers to paula's question put me a little more at ease all i heard before is how hard the exam is .my agency send me saunders to study from it is really helpful but i am from the guyana and we don't use all those drugs so the drugs part is very hard for me some of the drugs i saw mention i never heard of before .thanks paula for the question and thanks to all u who reply
  2. by not aspirateing the injection can got directly to the blood vesesel[some times when u aspirate u see blood flowing back into your syringe] that means that u r in a vessle if u should push a injection iv that should no be given iv they r lots of reaction that can presents with in secs.of the drug adminastration.if that had happen u would have seen it there and then.becareful next time
  3. not aspirate can the injection can got directly to the blood vessle or the patient can developan abcess at the site
  4. for me when i have to do smelly produceres i spray coline on my chest and i keep my chin down on my chest so i can get the smell of the coline.it helps a lot.good luck

  7. i am from Guyana a small countary in the carrabean.i was borne and raised in a small village called Bartica which means red earth and it is the gate way to the interior the men do gold mining in the interior presently i an a RN at the hospital in my village.

  10. not everyone have the same post-complain i had the surgery in november 2002 it taked me approxamility 2 months to recover fully but by the end of the firt month i was back to work. today i can eat any and every thing but except for a large amount of margine that will make me be vomite,feel nausiated ,have diarrhorea and just feel sick for a few days so i don't use margine at all i use low fat butter other wise no problem since oblove23RN
  11. i've given vitamin k iv put never had a coad. here in my countary Guyana there are a lot of snake bite patients .because of all the complacation with the venum and the clotting factor the patients have all drugs iv and vitamin k is one after a bleeding and clotting time result from the lab
  12. hello my name is oblove23 25 year old and i am a RN in my countary Guyana i have been in nursing for the last 5 years of my life it has been an exciting jorney so far but i want to travle and do nursing in a more developed country like the usa that is my dream.i found an agency global nursing solution that will give me that chance but they say i have to write the enclex exam is there any pointers on how to pass it .here in Guyana we are appointed RN when we pass our state board exam that is given at the end of the 3 year training at nursing school. thanks for any help oblove23
