Any one taking summer classes? If so, which ones? How do you plan to ace them? I would love to hear what classes those who are already into their program are taking.
I have to take intro to philosophy & one chemistry class for my BSN program in the fall. Definitely boring classes but I plan on studying/getting work done during the week so I can have weekends free.
I start my BSN program this Fall '13 and this summer I'll be taking:
-Communication and Culture ("Caring for Patients from Different Cultures")
-Life-Span Development Psychology
Only 7 credits...not bad at all! And I'll have most of August off from school before the Fall '13 semester starts. So I'll be able to relax and focus on just working and volunteering before the chaos starts
I'm starting my 12 month accelerated program next monthand taking..
[*]NURS 250: Clinical concepts in Nursing Practice (3)
[*]NURS 249: Health Promotion Across the Lifespan: (2)
[*]NURS 370: Health Assessment (3)
[*]NURS 252: Foundation for Nursing Care (3)
[*]NURS 360: Pathophysiology (4)
[*]NURS 330: Pharmacotherapeutics for Nursing Care (3)
I'm tired just from reading all that!
I'll be taking statistics and yoga . Quite the load :) I'm tired, I need a break. I might work, if I get a job offer soon. Other than that, I plan on relaxing!
I'm in an Accelerated BSN program - this summer we're taking Med-Surg 2, Maternity and Peds (which are two seperate classes). All three classes have clinical rotations. It's 16 credit hours total over 10 weeks.......buh bye any last shred of a social life that I had!!!!!
