Nursing Students General Students

Any one taking summer classes? If so, which ones? How do you plan to ace them? I would love to hear what classes those who are already into their program are taking.

I have to take intro to philosophy & one chemistry class for my BSN program in the fall. Definitely boring classes but I plan on studying/getting work done during the week so I can have weekends free.

Specializes in Pharmaceutical Research, Operating Room.
I'm starting my 12 month accelerated program next month :o and taking..

  • NURS 250: Clinical concepts in Nursing Practice (3)
  • NURS 249: Health Promotion Across the Lifespan: (2)
  • NURS 370: Health Assessment (3)
  • NURS 252: Foundation for Nursing Care (3)
  • NURS 360: Pathophysiology (4)
  • NURS 330: Pharmacotherapeutics for Nursing Care (3)

Holy CRAP!!!!! GOOD LUCK with all that, I'm overwhelmed just reading that!!!

I graduate with my ADN next month, and am exhausted yet I have signed up for classes one wk after graduation for some crazy reason. . I will be taking a 3 week long human physiology and a 3 week long human genetics.

I'm taking Pathophysiology, Pharm I, and my 1st clinical course...... I'll be swamped from May 21st-July30th. Thank GOD I'll have August to compose myself after this disaster.... I got my textbooks early so I am preparing by reading them. Hopefully it helps.

I start my grad entry program June 10th and from then until July 30th the only things on my mind will be:

Intro to Professional Nursing

Lifespan Development with a nursing focus

Assessment

Not sure what the best part is going to be...on campus only two days a week (8-5M, 8-12T) or that development is online (already took it at the undergrad level).
