I just started orientation as a sub nurse, and the other nurses go by Miss or Mrs ::last name::.
I'm pretty young (early 20's) and my last name can be kind of hard to pronounce. I was thinking of just telling the students to just call me by my first name or Miss ::first name:: if they want to/have to use a formal title.
I'm not really big on formalities, the way I see it is that we're all people here. No need to call me Mrs or Miss. However I do realize this may not go over well in a structured school environment.
what do your students call you? Should I just go with what everyone else goes by? I feel like it would be strange having high schoolers call me miss :last name:: when I'm not that much older than them..
