you are a good nurse, you just haven't found your niche yet. i am so sorry this happened. suesquatch i read your posts and you are the kindest , understanding person. you have a heart of gold. you are in my prayers honey. please give yourself a big hug for me... you are not alone. you have alot of support.
evaluate yourself
hae you choosen a branch of nursing that is not suited to your own particular talents
not everyone is sited for fast paced floor nursing
there are jobs where you can work in an office and read other nurses notes and determine if patients ae getting good care
office nurses while it can be fast paced also is the type of job where you can plan your day ahead of time and get into a pattern
do not look at yourself in the mirror and see a failure, yo just have not found your groove yet
keep your chin up, we are with you
Thanks, all. It's just hard to type through the tears. I've been crying off and on since I got the news.
I didn't "do" anything. A couple of preceptors gave me a hard time, told the manager that I wasn't "open to learning" and that they "felt" I "could be" unsafe, so I was given to another preceptor who apparently agreed.
Anyway. I actually hated what I was doing, since day one, job one. Now I need to figure out what's next.
I. AM. SO. SORRY!!!! I know how emotional this is for you right now, Sue! That place/situation was just not where you belonged anyway! You are just too good of a nurse for them to handle, I imagine! DON'T YOU WORRY!! Things are going to work out for the best. One day you will look back on this and laugh. I Promise!!!!

I must be the worst nurse in the world.
Now I need to figure out my next step. And it isn't nursing.
No specific reason. They think I "could" be unsafe.
Pffft.
