How does your district pay you?

Are you paid just School days that you work or are you paid monthly including summers?

And if paid summers does your pay go down to part time?

I get paid for 6 hours a day.

My old district was an 8 hour day with paid lunch. My new district is 7 hours but I could really use 7.5 to get all my stuff done! I was told that when they renegotiated the contract, the nurses were offered 8 hour days and declined. I wish they hadn't! It totals almost an additional $5000 a year!

Paid once a month for 12 months (same amount throughout the year). Contract is for 187 days, 8 hours a day.

paid on the 15th and 30th - 10 months unless you want to stretch it to 12 in which they take a little out of every paycheck and then pay you in the summer in 2 checks, i think (i am not sure - i forgot to sign up when they offered, but i work summer school so whatevs)

We have a choice of being paid over 10 months or 12 months... I prefer the 12 months so I get a check during the summer..

Every 2 weeks. Paid through the summer (didn't have a choice on the matter, but that's OK, because I would have taken 12 months over 10 months anyway).

Summer school at a private school.

I have worked in the past at a college summer program for 13 year olds as well.

There are a lot of jobs out there. I thought abut doing something really different this year like working concerts, but the pay isn't great.

I get paid every other week. I took the 26 week pay option so less per check but a check at the end of June that covers the Summer. Not on the teacher pay scale
