How does your district pay you?
Are you paid just School days that you work or are you paid monthly including summers?
And if paid summers does your pay go down to part time?

We're paid once a month, on a 12 month basis; annual contract.

The 15th and the 30th. I get a big check in June.

We get paid once a month also. (salary spread out over 12 months)

We are paid monthly spread over 12 months. Our contract states we work x number of days for 7.5 hours a day at x amount per hour. That total is then divided by 12 for our monthly salary. If we happen to end up with more hours at the end of the contract, it will be added to our August check.

Semi-monthly (15th and 30th) x 10 months. Contract is 185 days with paid holidays.

Paid once a month for 12 months (same amount throughout the year). Contract is for 187 days, 8 hours a day.

Bi weekly, we can choose 20 paychecks or 20 + 1. I take the 20 + 1, a little less biweekly but a chunk to cover over the summer, with a little extra as health insurance and FSA are figured over 20 weeks, to keep it easier for the bookkeeper.

Bi-weekly. An hourly rate for a set number of days (187) divided over 24 pay periods. I'm told, like Far, that we get a big check at the beginning of the summer that covers those months.

They hold back pay every month so that during the summer we continue to get the same pay check. We are paid every other week year round, salaried. We are on the same pay scale as teachers.

Work 10 months, paid for 12. They take a little more out of your check to cover the two summer months. 10 sick days/3 personal days.

I get my hourly times 7 hours/day times 182 days, plus 12 holidays. Then it's divided into 24 checks and I get paid on the 15th and 30th. I need approval to work anytime over my 7 hours/day. So, I'm technically hourly, but paid as though I'm salaried. I was never given the option of being paid for the 10 months I work, but I would have chosen it this way anyway.
