  2. I wear scrubs because it's cheaper than my "real people" clothes & things come out of them (vomit, etc.) much easier than regular clothes!!
  3. I'm so glad this bill passed! I was very pleased with my EC experience!! It was so convenient and I was able to work full-time while studying with them. Thanks for the update!!

  6. 31 days & counting when the kids get out!! We have a few professional development days after the kids get out, but hey that's ok by me.

  8. My first 2 years I did not get one (was a LVN, no one in the district got a raise). My 3rd received one. My fourth year I received a stipend for completing my RN, but no raise.:) Received one my 5th & 6th year. Not based on anything, just whenever the districts decides to give raises.

    I'm in my mid 40's & people still call me sweetie, honey, etc (even though they are younger than me). I don't mind. Being born & raised in the South, it is just second nature to some people.
  10. I would love to get my Masters!! The program I considered was Cambridge College in Boston, but hubby says no more school. They offer a Masters of Education in School Nurse Education. The classes look very interesting, too. School Nurse Education | Cambridge College
  11. If we have no bad weather make up days we get a 4 day weekend for Easter!!!:) Crossing my fingers!!
  12. June is VERY busy for me!!! Canada (to see my grandmother), a cruise, a little bit of summer school, local hospital school nurse symposium, & attending the NASN conference in San Diego!!! July: another cruise. That's it so far!! My hubby & I don't have kids so we like to travel as much as possible.
  13. 15 school days & counting!!! It can't come quick enough!!

    I have to stay until a designated time. My hours are 7:20 to 3:50. We are on contract so no hourly pay here.
  15. Last day is 22nd Staff comes back 01/06 Kids come back 01/09 Can't wait!!!!
