  1. You’re right! I’ll probably just wait. I’m excited and nervous too. Each day is a day closer.
  2. Hi everyone, It’s been a while. How’s everyone doing? August will soon be here and I’m super excited ? anyone got their uniforms yet? I’m debating on whether to get mine now or wait closer to the start date. Only thing is…. Is that I don’t want to risk the stores not having what I’ll need in time if I wait too late.
  3. OMG YES! I’m so excited. As soon as I get home from work I’ll be reading every last word from the handbook
  4. Hey, I just got my acceptance letter. Did anyone else get theirs?
  5. Same here. I wonder what the uniform colors are. I can’t even remember where I saw this at but, I was reading some reviews about Mercy and the person was like there’s this one teacher (if I’m not mistaken he/she said that he was Canadian) and he is strict. They said that he failed all of the students with mediocre grades and he expects the students to retain the lesson very quickly. That sounds like a great idea. I’m gonna email them on Monday.
  6. Same here. I’ve been researching since the beginning of January.
  7. You should be able to be exempt. I have my Associates degree. Either way I hope that we all get in. I’m ready to get started ?
  8. Hi, I’ve already applied. I’m going for the Fall 2022 as well. Initially I wanted to start in April, but I’m having to relocate so it was a little too soon. I had already paid the fee, able to be exempt for the TEAS and did FAFSA. So now she said it’s just a matter of waiting since I decided to switch terms. Has anyone heard anything about how they operate? Or knows anyone who successfully completed the program. I’ve been doing research to try and find out more info but it’s very little info.
  9. Oh wow. That’s so unfortunate. I’ve always been told that your life literally has to be school and everything else is later. Hopefully I don’t have to take dosage because I’ve already taken it at another school this past Summer.
  10. @MaleNursing1218 How was it? Did your entire class graduate? How was it? Did everyone graduate?
  11. Hello all, I know that I’m super late but I was placed on the alternate list for the VN San Jac North program for the Spring 22 session. I spoke with the department a few times and I was told that the cohort is full with no seats available at this time. However, I received my blue card in the mail a few weeks ago and I was shocked because I didn’t order my own background check. So I called and someone advised me that those who were accepted and those put on the alternate list automatically had their information sent to TBON. Did anyone else receive their blue card from the Texas Board of Nursing?
  12. I’m going to do Surgical Technologist. I’ve always had an o session with operations and the operating room.
  13. Hey thanks and no I have not and honestly I’m done trying to pursue it. I've been trying for a while now. I’m going to go ahead with plan B and get started there.
