Looks like since last year. So, for those who didn't comment on the last thread like this (or who want to comment again) what made you pick your user name? Does it have some meaning, or is it just random? I am always curious about what they actually mean.
Mine is actually from my favorite movie "Army of Darkness".
I had a light hearted thread in AN Central where I admitted where mine came from. I think I brought it up once after too.My screen name is a Dungeons&Dragons player I created and had a lot of fun with when I was a teen-ager. How I came up with the name of this Paladin was:
1. I had just watched Karate Kid the night before and couldn't get out of my head how Mr. Miahgi said Danny's name: "Danial-son".
2. A friend of mine, named Erik, had recently broken up a fight that was..........well, unfair............he was protecting the younger/smaller kid from the bully type situation.
So, when I created my Paladin character, I combined the two and came up with Eriksoln. I love it how people are under the impression my first name is Erik lol. Even had someone tell me they thought it was a play on Erikson and his stages.
Paladins rock... though I've always favored Evish Rangers myself.
Regarding Erik Erikson, I found it interesting that he changed his last name to Erikson...
Mine is actually from a book I read in middle school. There was a girl who would change her name every week. One week she was Chicookie. Its really not pronounced as chi-cookie, like everyone believes. Its actually Chu- ookie. She was really cool too. She was strong and didn't let anyone bring her down. The book said it was some African word that meant different from the rest.
My dumb ol middle school believed it. Come to find out it means nothing. Its not even a real word. -_____- But it's been my screen name since then so I use it for everything. Its really uncommon.
If you Google it, almost everything that comes up is me. LOL ....maybe I shouldn't have admitted that..... @_@

Mine is actually the definition of my maiden name, but I'm married so I used Mrs. in front of it.
