Nurses and their pens

You know how you have that one favorite pen that fits just right in your hand and writes so smoothly? You get very attached to it....and then, much to your dismay it seems to grow legs and disappears. Be prepared by stocking up so you'll always have a backup.

I obviously do my serious writing in black..but as for my fun little notes/memos I used a pink sparkly pen. Gotta have some fun! :)

I like the ones that I keep stealing from my orthopedic surgeon's office. :saint: Whatever they are, they write really nicely and are comfortable to hold.

I like whichever pens are in the office supply closet, pens that have company names, four color pens (my most favorite) and holiday pens - especially my giant Santa pen!

I use cheap black dollar store pens. I buy 2 packs at a time and keep a spare pack in my car.

What? Nobody charting with a Mont Blanc? Though I guess if you carried a Mont Blanc you wouldn't need a nursing career.And there are pens even more expensive that Mont Blanc's.

My only requirement is it has to be a clicker and I have to have two in my left scrub pocket at all times. I get nervous when someone borrows one and I don't have two. Stay back, Farawyn!

A friend cleared out her locker after working in a dept for 4 years. There was a grocery bag full of pens and whiteboard markers there. She foraged through it and there were some seriously nice ones that she had "borrowed" along the way.
