You know how you have that one favorite pen that fits just right in your hand and writes so smoothly? You get very attached to it....and then, much to your dismay it seems to grow legs and disappears. Be prepared by stocking up so you'll always have a backup.

I love my RSVP pens in Fine point either blue or black ink. I've been using them since middle school and will continue to do so as long as they exist lol

I love the RSVP pens! Been using them since middle school as well. Just recently my friend got me a bunch of stuff for nursing school as a thank you gift for helping her with a summer class and she put a couple packages of those in there for me. :)

I use the Sharpie pens, more like fine tipped markers (don't indent paper) in the multicolor pack I have 12 with 10 different colors. Love being able to color code my notes/report. Makes it easier to read for me.

A few years ago I discovered Pentel Energel pens. I will never use anything else. It's a gel pen but the 0.5 needle tip writes a very fine line. Farawyn, don't you ever try to take my pens!

I bought a seven-dollar pen because I always lose pens and I got sick of not caring.

LOL! I am a pen thief of monumental proportions. Not picky in the least. I used to leave the house with one pen and come back with six or so. It got so bad that my husband told me to do something about it because our office drawers were overflowing.

I ordered 150 custom pens with my name on them. Now, I don't even reach for other people's pens. But back in the day... y'all probably would've tarred and feathered me.

Specializes in Med nurse in med-surg., float, HH, and PDN.

Worked at a hospital where there was a doctor who was very bad about lifting loose pens AND stethoscopes! If we knew he was on the floor, neither of those items were set down anywhere, lest it end up in his pocket.

I don't know the brand, but it has to be 0.7. I'm like Goldilocks that way. I can't believe some of you chart with a 1.2! That would be like using a marker.

*has the sudden urge to come work with you solely to swipe your pen*

Lol I never ever put it down. It immediately goes back into my zipped pocket right after using.

I don't know why I don't like writing with pens that thin! I just can't.

I start the shift with 6 pens, leave with 1 (if I'm even that lucky)....:cautious:
