Hi - I'm currently in the course and can't believe how much time I'm committing to studying. Is this course the one that requires the most study time are are all nursing courses this way? thanks in advance for your posts...

As far as pre-reqs, yes I found that A&P required the most study time. I'm taking micro now and it doesn't require anywhere near the same amount of time it took me to study for A&P. Chem also took up a lot of my time as well, but A&P definitely takes the cake for me.

A & P was easy for me. Micro was way worse. It depends on your strengths and weaknesses.

Yes, A&P was the most time intensive class I ever took. Micro ran a close second but there was less info to know.

A&P is easy for me, I really don't even study for it. We have had two tests so far and I missed two questions on the first test and none on the second test. English is what is kicking my butt.. sounds weird.. but I guess I can't write a good paper to save my life!

AP1 was pretty easy to me, Micro was the hardest by far, and AP2 ran a close second. Micro SUCKED!!!!!!!!

I think pharmocology will be worse, although I haven't gotten there yet myself. Pharm will also have really odd names, only this time without the strong latin base to help. Also, no models to manipulate and more information involved.
I don't know enough about the other nursing classes to know.

Anatomy and Physiology was definitely a time consuming class. I studied everyday but it really paid off. I am taking microbiology right now so well see on how it goes. Study hard for anatomy and physiology because it will pay off! best of luck

IA. I spent approx. 2-4 hours (sometimes more) daily on A&P. It's like two classes in one. I have Micro right now and I spend 45 min - 1 hour daily, and get good grades. I find it easier (so far).
All the rest of the pre-reqs aren't that bad. Nutrtion was fairly easy, especially after A&P 2 and having done the digestive sytem thoroughly, chem wasn't that bad, just make sure you work the problems everyday and get comfortable, pol sci was not my interest but I did well....etc.

I would say that I enjoyed but spent a lot of time studying for my A&P classes. I thought my writing courses were more difficult because they weren't straightforward at all and getting motivated to write a couple of research papers and other assorted stuff was really difficult. Taking Research Writing and Technical writing in the same term was one giant pain in the toukus. At least A&P made sense.
I agree!!!!!!

I thought A&P I was by far the hardest! I haven't yet taken micro or pathophys or any of that (they're coreqs at my school, not prereqs, and we don't take gen bio or chem at all)...but even compared to the one nursing class I've done so far, A&P I (and only I, not II) was much harder!
