Sooooo.... I tested on the 18th of March and walked out feeling terrible. This was the second time I've tested btw... So I tried the "PVT" and on the site it said "delivery successful". I tried to reregister and got the "good" pop up. Something like,"you can not register at this time, our records indicate you have previously taken this exam. Please contact you BON..." I'm freaking out. When I tested the first time and failed, it took me straight to the cc screen. So this time when I tried the trick and got the pop up I was for sure that I passed, got my quick results today and found out that I failed. I've never heard of this. What do I do!?

OMG!!! I am sooooo sorry to hear this! it seems as though you were unfortunately the first person to prove that the PVT is wrong! What materials did you use to study??

I'm sorry! Did you get the "you can not register at this time" or "our records currently indicate" because I got the "you can not register because results were on hold" I failed but was told that the pop I received wasn't indicative of a pass just that my results were on hold and being reviewed. Either way don't give up. You can do this

The same thing happened to me last November 2013. I just took again 3/17 and tried the trick. It brought me cc page. I didn't bother to pay for quick result to find out.im still in tear now but just have to move on. It took me 5 years to process papers.

Same thing happened to me my first time taking the NCLEX. First time I went through all 6 hours a total nervous wreck after studying the complete wrong way and got home to find the good pop up, it kept giving me good pop up for about a day and a half. And I failed
Second time after getting a GREAT tutor I passed after 75 questions no problem and got "good" pop up once again though this time I did not take anything away from it.
I used Kaplan to study. I did the Qbank questions and even did the Kaplan review. Everything I did pointed towards me passing. Idk what else to do. This is such a terrible feeling.
Wow RobNRN! I thought I was alone. Getting the good pop up definitely gave me false reassurance, because it apparently has never failed anyone what did your tutor have you study?? I feel like such a failure and my confidence is torn.

So sorry to hear of this.....but also REALLY sorry that so many people think this "trick" is gospel, and never fails to work. It does fail to work....that's why it's called a "trick" and not in any way recognized by Pearson Vue as accurate.
Huge percentage of the time, the "trick" results match what you expect for a passing or failing exam. But sometimes (and no, you are NOT the first person this has happened to!) the results don't match up. And the "trick" proves to be just that: a stupid trick.
Try again. And don't torture yourself with that blasted thing, get quick results or actual results in the mail. GOOD LUCK!!

Happened to my friend also. But she got the pop up that said you cannot register at this time and that your records ARE ON HOLD. She failed to mention that part when she told me she got the good pop up. She failed also.
So sorry to hear that OP.

She's not. I know of at least three cases where PVT failed both ways. I see many people say it's 100% accurate all the time but hen hear story after story that it's not 100%. I would just advise people to go ahead and do it if they feel they must, but to wait for their quick results (if they paid for it) before celebrating or despairing.
