Doing the PVT Trick with a fake Expiration date / CVC

Hi all!

Just a quick question since I cannot find any posts relating to this. If I type in the INCORRECT expiration/CVC (but correct card #) to do the PVP Trick, will it still process my payment/charge my card if I failed? Thanks in advance! ?

If you provide the correct card number but an invalid expiration date the charge can go through and has. It's up to the merchant to decide to take a risk on a card that is expired or has the wrong date, as they can't push to get the $ if the cardholder disputes it. But a cardholder offering up a card with an expired or incorrect date can be accepted and paid. I do know that can and does happen. The security code, that's a different thing.

The PVT is a game. I guess if you're going to be happy and accept whatever the supposed response is if you play it, then that's fine. But there's threads here all OVER the place of people who insist on punching in credit card numbers every hour, every two hours, every three hours and so on until either their account locks up (happens) or they get the real confirmation from their board of nursing.

Up to you if you want to play.

My question to all those who do this crazy thing, If you don't accept the PVT as The Answer, why bother at all?

Your payment can't be processed unless you provide accurate credit card information. Nor is the trick reliable if you don't provide valid CC info.

Oh bummer ? Ill stick with fail option because acceptance is less painful. One thing, when typing in the address under billing information, there was a note that the address SHOULD "match the address on the [Pearson] account". But the address I typed was different from "the" address associated with the said account. After that, typed in Valid CC number, wrong CVC and Expiration. Click submit twice, and boom, Declined. :(

Does your state participate in the Quick Results program? If so you can pay $8 48 hours after the test to find out if you passed or failed, no confusion. If not you should check the state website for updates.

PVT is not always right!

I took the NCLEX on a Tuesday in CA. My tested ended at 75. I than realized I either did really good or really and and started to panic. I than started googling how common it is to fail with 75. Then I stumbled upon the PVT and decided to try it.

Needless to say I got the BAD pop up. I tried it at least 20x within 36 hours. Over and over again, I used expired credit cards, gift cards all the tricks. I was ONE step away from paying and I NEVER got the good pop up.

I was so depressed. I didn't want to talk to anyone and basically hid away for 2 days. When I was starting to accept my fate, I decided to check at My breeze account shortly after midnight and Then my license number popped up!!!

I PASSED! I couldn't believe it. I checked it over and over again. I then went to Pearson and my results have not been Updated. So my license showed up about 8 hours before the 48 hour mark.

Just wanted to let you all know THERE IS STILL a chance if you get the BAD POP UP. Have faith!!!

No, this isn't the bad pop up. According to the trick, when you have failed, your credit card is charged and you are directed to schedule your exam. A declined card indicates neither passing nor failing.

Just want to point out the misinformation here, that is indeed the bad pop-up and if you get it you more than likely failed. You DO NOT have to put in a valid expiration date or CVC code for the trick to work.

I tried doing the PVT, I entered the correct credit card number but didn't put the correct expiration date and CVC. When I hit the submit button twice what I got was Our record indicate ..... blah blah. Did it after 24 and 48 hours and just did it yesterday. I tested Sep 8, 2017 and up to this date still got no results.

Is that what you called a good pop up?? Cause I not sure if I pass LOL its been 3 weeks of waiting.

The PVT works; there is no doubt.

You need to enter (almost) all of your CC info *correctly* including the 3 digit security code. Everything must be correct EXCEPT the expiration date. Change the date of the CC exp date unless you don't mind the risk of paying an additional $200. You can make it any future date you want; however, the system won't let you submit an EXPIRED CC exp date. Therefore, it must be a fake FUTURE date.

The good message currently reads, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

I used a valid card but incorrect CVC/Exp and got the message "Credit Card Declined contact your bank". Is this what they call a "bad pop up"?

Yes. But you don't know if your card was declined because it was recognized to be invalid information or if you failed. Most likely, you failed. Sometimes though, the card will be tried and found to be invalid, because that is what you did you gave it wrong information. Don't want to get your hopes up much because it doesn't happen often that a invalid card entry isn't needed anyway because the person passed. Most of the time, the card is tested because you failed.

Sounds like you did get the "bad" pop up. You can also go to the breeze website and if you're not already registered, then register and under "Manage Applications" there is a drop down box. It should either say "Application for Licensure" or if you failed it will give the application for "Retake". Hope that helps! Sorry.
