NCLEX anxiety

Published

Hi. I took my test today at 1. I was done by 2:10. I freaked out because I was expecting to be there for hours, and then I felt I went too fast. I tried the "trick" and it let me go all the way to registration. How did you know how many questions you had? There were no numbers and the test just shut off after many questions. Does this mean I failed?

Here is what it looks like.

Hey, not sure if you updated yet - how did it go? I am feeling so anxious myself and would love to hear about your experience.

Hi everyone.
I took the NCLEX exam yesterday, and I was shocked when the computer shut off after 85 questions. What does that mean? I'm feeling really anxious right now—unsure of how to feel. I'm scared but still hopeful that I did well.

It means the computer was able to determine that you either demonstrated minimum competency to practice as a nurse or demonstrated a lack of the minimum competency, and that no matter how many more questions you answered that wouldn't change. Take a deep breath, do something you haven't been able to spend time doing while in nursing school or studying for NCLEX, and wait for your official results to come out.
