Got the "good" pop up and failed. #PVT

OMG! this 3rd time was probably the worst test i have taken in my life. I got nauseous after question 80 and went to go take a break and eat a apple but that just made me want to vomit. When i went back in my stomach and head hurt so bad i was just wishing for the test to be over already and finally at 110 it did. My heart dropped, i was thinking to myself wait i was just kidding let it come back! I went out of the testing center and threw up. That has never happened to me before.. i went in my car and cried for like half an hour. I was so sure i failed, i felt like i barely knew what any of the questions were talking about and i was doubting myself the whole time . Finally i decided to check out the pearson vue trick and i got a message that said " Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time" i checked all the forums and videos to see if this is the good pop up. I got so worried though because it didn't have the second sentence like everyone else that says something about contacting the BON. I was still sure i failed though. Finally this morning i check the BON CA website and find my name there with RN and my license number! I am still to this point in shock but i just wanted to let everyone one that the pearson vue trick still works and if i can do you guys can do it because i really sucked in content and am a really bad test taker. I haven't checked mine yet on the boards... I just took the exam yesterday... but I got the good pop up too. Hoping PVT really works.

i studied for a 5 weeks, i tried for 5 days a week and 5-6 hours a day but sometimes i slacked a little. The first week i did 75 questions and did all health and promotion questions then the second week i did 100 questions and did all physiological integrity, the third week i did all safe and effective care with 150 questions and the fourth week i did 200 questions with psych. The fifth week i did all comprehensive on monday i did 215 questions and took it all in one sitting and at the same time as my scheduled test and tuesday i just reviewed all the questions i got wrong. and the same for wed, thur and friday and then sat and sunday just relaxed and pampered myself ( i got a massage and my nails done lol) For all of the studying except comprehensive week i did questions and then reviewed the ones i got wrong. And when i say reviewed i mean i studied everything about it like why i got it wrong, all the content i could find about it on saunders and kaplan. I would do 1hr 15 min of studying and take a 15 min break and go on like that so i didnt wear myself out.

For the resources i used the saunders yellow book for content, kaplan Rn course book for content and kaplan stratiegies 2014 for questions, saunders QandA for questions( i used that the most), the CD for saunders and kaplan and i used the ncsbn 3 week program but barely used it but i wished i did a little more of it because i feel the questions are the closet to nclex and the priority,delegation and assignment ( i think that is what its called) for questions. That last book was really good. I thought it was bad at first but realized that it was probably the best book of them all. Good Luck i hope that helps a little!

Good luck! im sure it is that is how i was, i was so skeptical about it. You wont really believe it until you see it on the BON or on pearson vue though haha

Help... I took my state exam for lpn today...as soon as I left out I tried to register numerous of times but I got a pop up saying "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time.what does that mean?how long do you have to wait to do the pearson vue trick? My status say delivery successful,oh and this is my 2nd time taking this exam...and they let me register when I failed it my first time... Plz respond nurses...

They said thats the good pop up! I took mine April 1st and after an hour i tried the pvt and i got the same message just like yours. Im from CA im still waiting for the snail mail, this is my 2nd week and 3 days of waiting so far. Goodluck to us! Congrats in advance!

I also took the test yesterday (April 17) and I got the good pop up. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi nurse-mates! From Houston, TX here.

I got like a quasi "good pop up". It just said: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

Instead of everyone elses saying: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Quite annoying actually because its giving me false hope. And waiting 48 hours is torture.

Just took it 12 hours ago...Chrome and IE are giving me the same wording while Mozilla doesn't give me a pop up at all and just keeps trying to load...I waited a few minutes with no avail.

I made it to the 265th question too..

I can't find anything on the internet like this so I just made this account to finally bring this to light.

I feel you man, just wait for the fast result. I had the "good pop-up" and passed, my friend was able to reschedule right away, she failed. So far everyone I knew who passed has gotten the good pop up. I know yours shows a little discrepancy, but I hope it's also the "good pop-up."

I got the exact same wording as you! And so did another classmate as mine...that person passed, and it looks like we did also!!! Congrats!!!! YOU Passsssssed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
