Gosh, there were a few of those "I want to report a person for ____" threads all around the same time. And then there was one person who got accused of diverting off a shared med cart. Lots of paranoia floating around.
The one about the student and the buddy the only sober ones was back in December I think. Yep, all of the students except for the OP and the buddy were drunk and stoned and caring for neonates. But none of the mothers or other nurses knew that the 8 students were drunk. That was astounding.

This actually sounds sad to me, like the student might have been having a psychotic breakdown. I can't find this funny. OK, back to flaming. The other ones are hilarious.
I have a CALLING. I'm not going into nursing for money, it's because I've always wanted to be one, therefore I'd be a better nurse than you. Also I should get the seat in nursing school instead of you even though I have half the GPA, because it's my caaallinggg.
The requirements to get into nursing school are so dumb. I don't need math to be a good nurse. I dont need no english skills 2be a gud nurse. The TEAS has no bearing on how successful I'll be as a student, even if stats do show that it is. I just have test anxiety, and that is no forbearer of how I'll do under pressure as a nurse. The A students aren't the best nurses, anyway (that one's my favorite!).
I'm a male and I'm being discriminated against. I want to say, good, at least you are for something. Take the jokes about you picking a feminine field and laugh all the way to the bank since you'll get promoted faster than the rest of us.

Not so sure about an actual breakdown so much as the OP lashing out at others for her own shortcomings. This was only one in a series of posts about how she was failing when other students were passing, and she felt she should be passing too. Regardless of the fact that she was not actually receiving passing grades....you get the idea.
There were sympathizers, of course, but the OP felt she deserved more than she was getting and there was nothing that was wrong on her end. So...not much help to be accepted there.
The icing on the cake was this thread that ran the gamut from unrealistic to ludicrous. It includes claims that this wasn't even the first time it's happened, and it STILL has gone unnoticed by anyone (except for OP and her buddy).
Maybe nursing school really DOES push some folks over the edge!!
