What general discussion topic on allnurses do you get the most annoyed at?

For example: My pet-peeve is the "I hate working the floor. What cushy nursing jobs are there that do not require any real work?"

How would you like to respond to these topics?

For example: I would like to respond "Quit being lazy, put your time in, and develop into a stronger nurse before venturing out."

Without being specific enough to identify anyone, please contribute with your thoughts about topics that annoy you the most.

Please do not insult, demean, or disparage anyone. After all- at allnurses we are allfriends.

What gets my goat: The responses to threads in a specialty forum, where the respondee hates the specialty (ah, why are you reading this section then?).

Case in point, the Nursing and Spirituality forum, where people are discussing spiritual things.... and someone pops in to tell everyone that such things do not exist......

Or use a specialty forum to complain how badly they, their parent, their cousin, and their dog was treated by those specialists.

Or you people who snark the boojum so much threads get closed. Now really people! I needed to know about those eagles and the red jello!

There is a lovely gem going right now called "I hate nurse practitioners", or something to that effect. The OP expressed frustration over MDs resisting getting on board with hiring NPs. And of course that has been hijacked by an anti-mid-level provider poster. Probably it's a troll but I've been sucked in.

There was a thread recently closed by the moderators where the OP hated nursing, nurses and women in general and had some thoughts about understanding why someone would want to exterminate millions of people . . . I cannot fathom the thought process where someone would not only think this way, but decide that it was a good idea (or even just OK) to post such seriously crazy stuff on the internet.

Disclaimer: There's a difference between having mental health issues that you're actively working on and being just bat-**** crazy, and that guy was the latter.
