I would like to share my account of what happened to me the final semester in nursing school...how I failed the final semester of nursing school, was dismissed from nursing school, then fought back and won in monumental proportions in court.
There is much disturbing evidence and testimony to indicate that I was used by my nursing school as a cover up for an egregious grade fixing scandal by them. Upon information and belief, I sued on counts of fraud, discrimination, and breach of contract (breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealings).
I have not the time now to fill in on details. But would like to add that the school used a rather clever and deceptive way to fix the entire outcome of a semester gone bad.
Please share your thoughts on this...more details coming later.
I am fairly certain this poster had a thread several months ago about this very issue- and it was a female IIRC. Let me look around and see if I can come up with it. The OP had a different screen name.Could possibly be this one: https://allnurses.com/registered-nurses-diploma/help-im-shut-838085.html

Different details, though. The only similarity I see is that they both failed out???
I love a good mystery!
This suit is not unique. I consulted on one within the past few years in another state, though there was no allegation of wholesale grade-fixing in it. I felt the nursing program had made a good case for failing the student (alas, since the student's attorney retained me) but I later heard that he had won his case. Don't know whether the student ever passed NCLEX. I suppose I could look it up at the BoN site if I cared enough. :)
I realize that we don't know for sure if the googled article is actually the OP's case, but let me get this straight. Person fails...clearly below the established standard for passing. Yes, I realize some people who allegedly were below the standard were allowed to pass. Yeah, that stinks. If I was the student who failed while others passed, I would be upset. However, for that person to think they are entitled to $2.5 million. Give me a break. FWIW, I highly doubt the veracity of all this.
Where did this happen? Why hasn't there been any publicity about it? This seems very fishy to me...
My guess would be that this is a recent deveopment. The OP created a screen name just to inform us of this "incident." It could be only one way of spreading the word.
Or it's all bologna. .

OP, if the case I spoke of in my previous post did not concern you, I do apologize. I would appreciate further details on your situation, then. Peace.
